A: This is more of a button that looks like a rocker switch.

Q: 5. How do you power it if you do not have existing door bell?

A: The TP-Link KD110 Kasa Smart Doorbell (BH # TPKD110) would need to be hardwired to a 16 to 24 VAC; 10 VA transformer which would be wired to standard 120VAC 50 / 60 Hz house current.

[1.27 lb] Bought it to put in a lamp that sits in the background of my online classroom, I thought it would be fun to have some color wash behind me. It does great for this, but I find myself using this all the time- it's really pleasant to be able to change the color temperature of lighting to suit the ambient conditions. The dimmer range is great and super smooth- and this costs like a third of what a quality hardwire dimmer costs. It does lose connection occasionally but generally it's pretty reliable and respectably responsive. This product is a winner, I will buy more for sure. 5

[Strip] This light strip is pretty much perfect in every way. For an affordable price you get 16 FEET of LEDs, which I didn't believe until I actually rolled it out and set it up. The Kasa app is great and works well for setting up schedules, creating effects, and connecting to Google Home. The LEDs are very bright and look great, with adjustable brightness. Couldn't ask for more, I will be buying multiple. 5

[Yes (WiFi Only)] This is my second time buying these, and they are great. I initially through the RGB function was a gimmick- who wants to wash their room in green besides livestreamers or gamer kids? But when you consider what this product can do, it's actually tremendously useful in quite a range of decor. These will dim to candlelight and run all the way down to 2500k, which makes them superb for all manner of eye-level lamps, but then ramp up to 800 lumen daylight white with the click of a button when you need to find something or clean. Add to this a robust and well-executed wifi functionality, with scheduling and more, and you have a very versatile and cost-effective way to add dimmer and timing functions to any lamp. Highly recommended. 5

[Yes (WiFi Only)] Very bright and easily adjustable. You DO need to have WiFi to set it up (and it cannot be an open WiFi, must have a password), but once set up you can take it anywhere and plug it in and it remembers how it was set. Great illumination for festivals and such as long as you have a source of AC power. 5
