Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this lens work with the C70? More specifically the 40mm and 65mm. I've read from some sources that they will crop on this camera since it can't cover the entire S35 sensor?

A: Yes, the Vazen 65mm T2 1.8x Anamorphic Lens (RF) will work on the Canon C70 camera and the crop factor will be approximately 1.4x.

Q: 2. Isn't the 65 mm XCD lens a 50 mm equivalent, not 35 mm? Your key features listing has an error, I believe.

A: The 35mm refers to the film/sensor format, not the equivalent focal length.

Q: 3. Does it have weather sealing rubber ring at the mount?

A: Yes, the Hasselblad XCD 65mm is weather-sealed lens.

Q: 4. Is this lens an internally focusing design or does the lens get physically longer as it is focused closer?

A: This lens does not have internal focus, therefore it extends.

Q: 5. Is the focus noisy?

A: The Hasselblad XCD 65mm f/2.8 Lens has a consistent vibration and low pitch noise when focusing.

Q: 6. Can this 65mm lens be used on X2D without any problem?

A: The Hasselblad XCD 65mm f/2.8 Lens is compatible with the Hasselblad X2D Medium Format Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 7. Does this include a lens hood?

A: Yes

Q: 8. Does it accept Leica M lenses ?

A: This is a Hasselblad X Lens.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with Leofoto LH 40 low profile ball head?

A: Yes. The following unit is based off a Arca-Type Compatible system.

Q: 10. what is the inside diameter of the cap?

A: This is a 65mm push on cap. It is designed to go on a lens with an outer diameter of 65mm, meaning the inner diameter of the cap will also be 65mm.

Very nice. Could use one more thread though. Seems a little short on threading when trying to attach and remove while making lens changes in the dark. Makes me a little nervous sometimes that I will drop it during removal from the lens. Good quality though and I like having it around.

What can I say about an air filter. It appears to be quality made,

The Baader Filters have been the 'Gold Standard' for both Visual and Imaging.

However the thin film material must be carefully handled.

Finally got to use this for the first time last weekend on Jupiter. Provided nice, sharp images to combine with my Baader RGB filters

I live in heavily light polluted skies, yet I can go out in the backyard and look up at the billowing clouds of the milky way. I can actually see meteorite showers when they are happening. This is all possible by using this filter in conjunction with a Gen3 night vision device. This filter blocks out all light below 685nm which is basically all the man made light pollution leaving mostly celestial light for your enjoyment. This does cut out hydrogen alpha light, so you will not be seeing nebulae with this, but a separate band pass filter is used for that purpose.

There is no better narrowband green filter for astronomical observations and photography. I have been observing since 1974 and this filter has turned my achromatic refractor into an apochromat. Viewing on the Moon cannot be sharper eliminating chromatic aberration by using one wavelength of color and then converting to black and white monochrome. Baader's reputation exceeds itself.

One of the best items I've purchased for my 140mm telescope.
The reduction in sky glow and the contrast improvement add to those Oh, Wow! moments of star gazing.
