It was easy enough to set up, transfer files from a different external drive through the front USB port, and start using it remotely and as a local network drive.

As a small scale videoproducer I look for ways to make my shot stand out from the crowd. Libec rail system is a perfect tool and my basic kit plus extra rails stright and a curve gives me the edge. Lightweight, easy to assamble and a temptation to use.

I retired 2 D-link DS-321's and a Seagate NAS for this. The speed is amazing. I installed 4 Crucial MX500 1Tb ssd's for the time being, until bigger quality ssd prices come down. Using it as multipurpose. A Emby media server to the Emby App on a Roku and also Emby on a Kodi. Also using it for data storage. Software wasn't too bad of a learning curve.
Highly recommend this NAS for large home or small office.

I've bought two of these now to replace the Thecus NASes that broke down. Very easy to set up and maintain, and good product support.

As a regular Amazon customer I was looking for the
Asustor AS5304T and it was out of stock there so after a quick search I found B&H online store. After some minutes I finally bought it and it arrived really fast. I am really happy with my purchase and will definitely buy more from B&H! Highly recommended.

The NAS seems to be a pretty flexible unit. I like the app ecosystem, and the fact that it just runs docker containers on x86 implies I could probably just run whatever I wanted to if I needed. I installed home assistant to free up another SBC I was running, and it seems to run fine with it. Right now I have a pair of 4tb wd red plus in raid 1, and setup was painless. It had me update firmware on first boot, which was about 5 minutes. After that it offered a guided tour, which you could skip, and that was it. Once it was through it started synching the drives, and I was able to set up some samba shares while it finished. Had 3 computers using it as a backup target within an hour. (Why did MS decide to hide local backup options away? I don't want to use onedrive!)

Good enclosure with plenty of flexibility and choice!

Easy to set up hardware and software. My primary purpose is initiating and storing backups from a few devices at home. Full backups are fast and restoring from one was faster than I thought it'd be at around an hour for ~300Gb. Depending on how things go I'll be buying another as a gift for the same purpose.

Easy setup ,.. simple intuitive interface, extremely user friendly, I highly recommend this product!

Currently having an issue with the NAS being detected. Working with support to resolve. I'll adjust as it progresses but so far asustar has been addressing the issue and hoping to get it resolved tomorrow.
Otherwise, it is great and tremendous third part apps are phenomenal!

Software is intuitive, drive trays feel a little brittle. Performance is good, 2 2.5Gbps is excellent.

Would recommend a foam pad to sit on if noise is an issue. Also enterprise drives are noisey.
