Expand the mounting options of your RED V-RAPTOR with this Tilta Rear Top Plate for RED V-RAPTOR | Camera Accessoryfrom Tilta Rear Top Plate for RED V-RAPTOR | Camera Accessorywithout interfering with the ventilation of the camera. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, both with and without locating pins, allow you to secure articulating arms, secondary monitors, or microphones to the top of the camera.

Exhaust vents at the center of the plate mimic the V-RAPTOR's integrated ventilation system to prevent the camera from overheating. The plate does not require a full cage installed on the camera.

[0.49 lb] I tried going a cheaper route but ran into clearance issue with the front of aftermarket handles interfering with the RED DIGITAL CINEMA DSMC3 RED Touch 7.0 display. This handle feel great, fits clean & perfectly, and does not protrude far past the upright support (so no physical interface with display mount assembly). Also, while not obvious from the photos, the record button works even with touch display through two small contact surfaces not obvious from looking at photos. 5

[Black] have this along with the tilta vmount battery plate. wouldnt go on a shoot without this combo. plenty of different screw threads for whatever attachments you need, plus it's sturdy as hell once you get it on your camera body. i leave it permanently on my fx6. 5

[Black] At 7 bills, I don't want to like this thing at all. Not at all. If you don't know what 7 bills means, ask a friend that looks like me. Wait, don't do that. Just google it. Don't do that. I googled it and got nothing. Anyway, it is WAY too expensive. But it is so well built and so comfortable, and functional, and sexy. I hate to say it, but good job RED. Yeah, I love it. 5

[Black] I'm able to attach a locking Arri-style top handle and use 15mm rod components above the lens. Other companies would do well to implement top 15mm rods. This plate allows for unparalleled modularity. It's very sturdy and I can trust it with a lot of weight. 5

[0.49 lb] Massive upgrade to the Outrigger Handle. The Outrigger has its use cases, but it's impractical because you can't quickly break it down for gimbal use, had very minimal mounting points, and was not modular in design whatsoever. The Compact Top Handle solves all of this and to be honest, I much prefer a multi-purpose top handle over anything. This thing is rock solid and practical. 5
