SKB does offer different configurations of their fly rack and some models do have open front, back, and sides, such as the SKB iSeries Injection-Molded Fly Rack - 6 RU, 20" Rack Depth (B&H # SK3I2424M146). If you look at the actual frame of the rack, you can see that there are differences in construction.

Q: 7. Are the size specs listed on B&H for the 34 case accurate (38.25 x 12.75 x 14.00 and 15lbs)? As stated, it would appear this is slightly bulkier and heavier then the 37 model.

A: Hi Shaun, That is correct. The reasoning for that is the 37 tripod case (1SKB-R3709W) has a diameter of 9 vs. the 1SKB-R3411W which has a diameter of 11 . In production they used a touch more plastic in the 1SKB-R3411W which put the weight of the 1SKB-R3411W tripod to 15 lbs. Thank you,Will

A: No, the rack does not include rubber feet. You can certainly modify the rack and add them if you would like. You may also be able to use something like the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System 4-Pack (B&H # SVSPSISOSY4P) placed under each corner of the rack to isolate the components from vibrations as well as to elevate the rack above the cabinet's handle.

Q: 10. I am interested in the SKB Roto-Molded Tripod Case (24 Tall). Would two tripods (each under 23 inches tall) and two ball heads not attached fit in this case?

A: Hi Lynette, It depends on the diameter of the tripod legs to judge if you have enough room for the two ball heads. If you have tripods for still cameras most likely they will fit as they tend to be smaller than tripods for video. Two tripods each under 23 inches should fit no problem unless the diameter of the legs closed is over 6 per tripod.
