The 77mm Moment CineFlare Blue Streak Filter 77mmfrom Moment CineFlare Blue Streak Filter 77mmadds anamorphic-like blue flares to still images and video footage without using a specialty lens. It can create eye-catching cinematic looks with virtually any camera and lens combination. CineFlare filters can even be used on smartphones with a separately available adapter. The filter is made of optical glass with 30 layers of multicoating and resistance coating for optimal sharpness and light transmission. The resistance coating also protects the filter surface from scratches and abrasions, and it repels water and oil, making it ideal for use on location in harsh environments.

Made from precision-machined aluminum, the 77mm filter ring is fully rotatable, so the flare effect can be adjusted to any desired angle. The slim ring design allows the filter to be used on wide-angle lenses without vignetting.

A: The B+W MRC Basic CPL filter does not have a tremendous amount of water-resistance to them. With anything, we recommend rinsing off any salt/sand/sediments off your items and devices if doused in saltwater. Q: 10. I'm thinking in buying this CPL for my Zeiss Batis 2/25 - Is it hard to clean or take care? i do street photography in New York City - would a CPL be useful for the type of photos i capture? -Thanks!

A: The ZEISS filters are the best and with any filter requires care like your camera equipment so always use a microfiber cloth with bottled water prior to you shoot. You can always remove dust during processing in PS. Use this filter for shooting water and glass to remove reflections and it will bring out all colors but you can get the deep colors in processing. ZEISS optics are the best. When you use this filter you need to adjust it to the darkest point or your colors will not come out.

[0.35 lb] I like the designated stops on this. Solid build quality. It has a small tint shift that is common with basically any variable nd filter. I’ve used one for a year and opted to buy a second for when I use a b cam on interviews. 5

[77 mm] Inexpensive UV Haze filters purchased for use on fairly inexpensive Demo: 65mm spotting scopes.(I’m an intermediate, to advanced amateur Birding Guide) So far, so good. I could detect no distortion, or light falloff around the edges. Apparently a good dollar value on these Moment multi-coated filters. Only time will tell their true value and quality, and their ruggedness? 5

[0.35 lb] I filter a lot and have found it to be a kind of secret weapon for my clients, who can see I'm getting images my contemporaries can't. I have a lot of car clients and generally shoot small to medium budget online spots. The blue streak can be done in post no doubt, but in camera it is just magnificent. Very cinematic! You can't use it all the time though! So it's a lot of money for a trick you can only pull every now and again... but what a trick it is! 5

[Aluminum] I purchased this filter only three weeks ago, but I've used it much already and I am happy with it. I recently began shooting a lot of ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography, and I needed a ND filter to allow me to take longer exposures in bright light settings. I'm using it on my Olympus Pen camera, and so far it's worked out very well. The circular case it came in is adequate and handy. 5
