Vienna Symphonic Library SYNCHRON-ized Recorders (Download)is a virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the soft and mellow sound of four recorders: soprano, alto, tenor, and great bass. Based on the VI Recorders collection, the library was reedited and optimized for the included Synchron Player, increasing both the flexibility and ease of use of all articulations for a quick and creative workflow and realistic recorder performances—ideal for film and game scoring, trailer music, or sound design.

The library features a full set of articulations that's on par with the instruments of SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds, offering various legato variants, dynamic articulations such as crescendos and diminuendos, repetitions with and without vibrato, and more.

The recorders were recorded in the tightly controlled ambience of Vienna's purpose-built Silent Stage and virtually placed on the large Stage A of Synchron Stage Vienna using the Synchron Player's integrated convolution reverb technology. Mixer presets place the instrument in its perfect spot onstage, resulting in a production-ready sound out of the box that blends seamlessly with the instruments of SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds as well as with every other product in the Synchron Series.

A: Yes you can. In fact I equip my DR-100 with 4 rechargeable batteries, on top I use the BP-6AA for extended use. That is on EFP mode - If you are shooting outdoors. Indoors I use BP-6AA AC.

A: The BP-6AA is designed to house 6AA batteries either alkaline or Ni-MH and provide external power to several of Tascams digital recorders. There is no charging capabilities in this unit.

A: Works GREAT outside, inside I have found the sound to be strangely distorted. Would not recommend for indoor dialog.
