[Bus Powered] Got a new Tesla and I noticed that certain events were not being recorded by the dashcam or Sentry mode. After researching online, it seems to be a problem with the slow performance of the included USB flash drive from Tesla. Got the Lexar SL600 1TB External SSD and so far so good. Videos are loading faster when I check the recorded events and haven't noticed any missed events yet. It was also nice that the drive came bundled with two cables, a usb c to c and a usb c to a cable. Would have been nice if the cable was shorter but I'm just nitpicking since I'm sure the intended use wasn't for it to be stuffed inside a Tesla glovebox. 5

[Bus Powered] For SSD's I've mostly used SanDisk (and a few Lacie drives) but decided to try this one since it is a bit lower priced. It's very fast and I've used it for three edit projects so far in the past three months with no issues. I'm able to play 6K RAW video back in real time, do complex After Effects renders (UHD resolution, using a second drive for cache), and just about anything else post-production related with all the assets on this drive. Plan on getting more of these but after this first trial run with the Transcend 2TB USB 3.2 I have nothing but a positive experience. 5

I like the way it feels in my hand as it appears to be made with quality materials, and it feels sturdy and not cheap. [Bus Powered] I bought this because of the Professional label. I find typically that products designed for industrial or business use tend to last longer and work better than those marketed for home use. This has lived up to those expectations. I get the full speed of this drive using both Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 ports. It's very sturdy, a little bigger than some external SSDs but nowhere near the size of an external HDD. I'm using it to backup files from my PC, works great on Windows 11 and Debian 12. 5
