A: These discs are not printable.

A: The manufacturer uses it's proprietary HardCoat coating for its BD-Rs. They advertise a long life, but do not make any quantitative claims to longevity the way M-DISC does. Additionally, there is not necessarily any definitive difference in longevity between HardCoat and similar coatings and M-DISC save for price.

A: The top of the CD is blank, with a matte surface for printing. However, on the inner ring of the CD, Maxwell's logo is printed.

A: Yes, but blank CDs are cheaper then using DVDs that record sound and picture.

[1.55 VDC] My old cameras seem happier with silver oxide than with alkaline batteries. The silver oxide ones keep their voltage stable longer, and they have less of a tendency to leak than alkaline batteries. They are harder to find these days, so I'm glad that B&H still stocks them. 5
