Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a NiSi X-len. Is this X len and the Xpan lens the same size? I intent to mount to A fujifilm G mount camera body.

A: The size is not the important factor--the design of the mount is. Only Xpan lenses are compatible with this adapter.

Q: 2. Hello, when I mount the adapter and lens to a Fuji GFX 50r the shutter will not release. The adapter seems fine and the camera is set to manual control. Camera works fine with Fuji lenses. And I missing something on this? Thank you

A: You need to assign the camera to shoot (relic the shutter ) without a lens , this adapter does not have electronic contacts

Q: 3. What is the weight?

A: According to Fotodiox, the NIKG-GFX-PRO would weigh only 5 oz.

Q: 4. Hi, Any ideas if this will fit a MIRANDA 24mm f2.8 for an old Olympus? (to a Nikon D90 camera)I have tried a simple Nikon to OM adapter ring, and it has the wrong screw hole spacing and no recess in the collar for the lens removal trigger.

A: No, that adapter is not compatible with the D90.

Q: 5. Hi, will this work with an Auto Miranda 105mm 2.8 for SENSOREX lens?

A: The FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter with Generation v10 Focus Confirmation Chip for Miranda-Mount Lens to Canon EF or EF-S Mount Camera is compatible with any Miranda mount lens.

Q: 6. How do I remove the glass element from the fotodiox miranda to nikon lens adapter? Just curious that's all.

A: The glass is held in place by a retention ring which can be unscrewed. It's best if you use a lens cloth and grab onto the glass on either side of the adapter, then rotate the adapter to unscrew it. The retention rings are in place rather tightly so it will take some force to unscrew them at first.

Q: 7. Help! I am trying to use this adaptor with my Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR on my new GFX 100s. everything mounts up but I have NO aperture control. it seems to default to wode open or fully stopped down. I cannot control the aperture at all. this is useless in this state. Is there any resolution? Thanks..

A: When your Nikkor lens is wide open, the aperture control on this Fotodiox NIKG-GFX-PRO would be utilized.

Q: 8. Does this adapter allow for full aperture control using the Xpan lens?

A: The adapter is fully manual and does not transfer the electronics from a lens. The Xpan lenses have an F/stop ring so from the lens you will be able to change the aperture.

Q: 9. fuij gfx 50R can use this adapter ? thank you

A: As the FUJIFILM GFX 50R Medium Format Mirrorless Camera uses the Fujifilm G-mount, yes, the FotodioX Nikon F Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount Camera Pro Lens Mount Adapter, B&H # FOPLMANNFGFG, would be compatible for use on the Fujifim GFX 50R Medimum Format Mirrorless Digital Camera. Do note that FotodioX recommends using Nikon full-frame lenses, particularly 85mm lenses and longer. Most 50mm lenses and all tilt/shift lenses should produce image circles large enough to cover the medium format sensors, though their performance will only have been optimized for their native formats. Wide angle lenses (wider than 50mm) will vignette on the Fujifilm GFX camera. This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will not be operable..

Q: 10. How much of Fujifilm GFX-50S sensor's area is utilized by Leica M Lenses attached with this mount?

A: The Leica M lenses are mainly full frame (35mm) compatible so there would be a crop factor of 0.79x applied to those lenses using them on the Fuji GFX-50S.

[Brass] Having used this product for roughly a week, I am still amazed every time I use it. To have an adaptor from two different worlds to take my artistic whims to a different level is inspiring. My girlfriend has upgraded to a Nikon Z7, and having kept her 100 mm macro lens from her previous set-up was all but happy to lend me her lens ... for a while. The FotodioX is really, really well made, I can only but recommend it. Cheers, R

[FUJIFILM X] The first adapter I ordered for another lens was incorrect the first two times. It worked on the third. For this lens, I was serviced efficiently and correctly the first time.

[FUJIFILM X] This works very well and is well made. The only quibble is that the Miranda Macro zoom lens (f=52; 1:2.8) does not fit as the macro lens has a slight projection which prevents it mating to the adapter (the difference is about 1.5mm).

[0.2 lb] I'm only using lenses that are manual with no electronics so I felt no need to buy the more expensive Fuji adapter. I put a Leica Summicron 35/f2 on my X-T30 II and it works great.

[0.2 lb] The FotodioX M-to-X adapter works great. On both sides (camera body, lens) the fit is excellent with no rattling or light leakage. I'm using this on a Fuji X-T2 (mirrorless), so it is hard for me to be certain, but I'm not losing any significant light when using this adapter and sharp focus is achievable. I have used the adapter with a variety of M-mount lenses from Leica, Zeiss and Voigtlander and have had not problem.

[0.2 lb] An absolute must-have for any FujiFilm user with access to any vintage lenses with the Leica M mount. Works perfectly, has excellent build quality, and looks great on the camera.
