The MIRx Konzerthaus Grosser Saal Convolution Reverbfrom MIRx Konzerthaus Grosser Saal Convolution Reverbis a convolution reverb extension for the Vienna Instruments PRO software featuring impulses recorded in the Grosser Saal (Great Hall) of the Vienna Konzerthaus. Based on the company's MIR (Multi Impulse Response) technology, the extension is a convenient and affordable way to integrate the acoustics of this renowned concert hall into the Vienna Instruments PRO sampler.

Using pre-configured responses, each Vienna Instrument or Ensemble can be placed in a perfect position in the sound stage at the touch of a button. Selecting a preset for the loaded instrument places and aligns it at the appropriate spot on the stage for a perfectly balanced orchestral sound. The acoustic ambience of the Great Hall is especially suited to large symphonic and choral works.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this the same idea as the MirX or Mir Pro from Vienna Ensemble where you can place your instrument on a virtual stage and it will automatically set the pan and reverb?

A: Yes, Spaces II does work in a similar manner to MIRx and MIR Pro by allowing you to hear the way the instrument would sound when placed on a stage in the virtual environment you select. It will provide automatic settings for reverb and pan, and the user can also make further adjustments to the control levels of input, pre-delay, wet and dry mix as desiired.

Q: 2. dose it have USB in USB out?

A: The Plug & Mix Digital Reverb Plug-In (BH # PLDIGITLRVRB) is software only and does not include any physical hardware which would feature a USB port.

Q: 3. which lexicon reverb works with windows 8.1?

A: So there's a reverb plugin that comes with the Scarlett Suite. It will work on windows 8.1, but the DAW needs to support VST, AU, or RTAS. But you would have to buy Scarlett Suite.

Q: 4. Doesn't this require an iLok or something for authorization?

A: Waves plug-ins no longer require iLok authorization. A USB flash drive can now be used to move your authorizations from computer to computer similar to an iLok.

[1 User] To get right to the point: the Lexicon LXP Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle offers absolutely fabulous sounding reverbs: hall, plate, chamber and room. They install easily into Pro Tools, and will really give a major boost to the sound of your mixes. Highly recommended.

[Download] The main benefit of upgrading from personal as you can send more sources into it which is beneficial because you can then move several sources around within the virtual space. It also gives you some more control per source as well, which can be fun to experiment with to give different kinds of reverbs that may be harder to achieve, although technically possible with other configurations

[1 User] Beautiful, lush, flexible reverb from Relab, whom I think are the best reverb developers outside of UAD at this point. The controls are simple but the tone-shaping abilities are robust. The 3 different algorithms each provide a different character of decay, and the ensemble modes provide absolutely gorgeous modulation on the tails.
