Ultrawide angle tested and approved for excellent vignetting and color cast performance. Built with premium ultrathin, ultra-strong Corning Gorilla Glass, this filter is more than two times stronger than Schott B270 glass to direct impacts, and more resistant to scratches for better long-term durability. The slim-brass frame features knurling that helps with your grip, making it easier to attach and remove the filter.

Q: 1. Can this be used with the Canon EF 200mm f2L IS Lens?

A: I don't have that lens. I have EF 300 f2.8 L II and the EF 200-400 Ext and bought to use with those. Tested on the 300 and fits fine. I also have the circular polariser. Bought the screw in holder to use with ND filter.

Q: 2. Is the filter this one comes with glass or gelatin??

A: Hi, the Canon 52mm Drop-in Filter Holder comes with a glass filter.

Q: 3. What is the difference between this filter holder and the less expensive model sold for $89.00?

A: Wll means the color matches the Versiion 2 lenses.

Q: 4. Nikon D3200 with 18X55mm lens. Requires a 52mm screw in. Is the Nikon 52mm clear NC glass filter a 52mm threaded screw in?

A: Yes, the 52mm clear NC filter is threaded for screw in application . Filters should be gentley screwed on the the lense to prevent cross threading the filter. I keep this filter on at all times. Great protection for my lense.

Q: 5. Will there be any vignetting at 24mm?

A: The Nikon Neutral Clear Filter (77mm) is designed to have a thin profile, which helps prevent vignetting issues.

Q: 6. I got a D500 camera. What size NC filter do I need?

A: That depends on the lens you are using. The lens usually mentions the size on the front ring around the glass.

A: If you are referring to the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens, yes, the Nikon Neutral Clear Filter (72mm) will work. If you are referring to the f/2.8 version lens it will not.

A: I'm sorry, no, you would need a different holder, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/3epJXWB

Q: 9. Is this the correct filter holder for a B+W 52mm 0.9 ND MRC 103M Filter? I am using a Canon 300 2.8II lens. How do I remove the clear filter to use the B&W ND filter?

A: Hello Wayne C,This is the correct filter holder for a 52mm screw-in filter for the Canon 300mm f2.8 II lens. I am not familiar with the B+W 52mm 0.9 ND MRC 103M filter, but I do use Hoya Pro ND 52mm filters with this Canon drop-in filter holder. The Hoya Pro ND filters are just thin enough to fit in the drop-in holder in the 300 f2.8 II lens. Any slim or low-profile filter would fit and medium thickness filters should be fine, but thick filters may not fit.To use the the new drop-in filter holder with a 52mm filter, you first have to remove the entire gel filter holder that came with the 300mm f2.8 II lens originally - by squeezing the two external metal knobs towards each other and sliding the holder out of the lens.Best wishes,David

Q: 10. Is this filter deep enough to allow the lens cap to lock onto it?

A: Yes the lens cap fits just fine.

[52 mm] 4 stop ND but as advertised. Know exactly how many stops used rather than VND with imprecise wheel.

[Glass] I wanted a 3 stop ND 112mm filter. I found Tokina is really good. I love it and it does perfect pictures.

[Solid ND] When three stops are too little, and 10 stops are too much, six stops are just right. Kind of like Goldilocks' porridge experience.

[52 mm] We are using this on the Sony 200-600mm. Image quality is great with no noticeable loss in sharpness, added vignette, or color shift.

[0.725 lb] I cannot believe the depth and saturation of color of my sunsets using this filter. NiSi also has a free APP called NiSi Filters that helps you chose the correct shutter speed. This takes some of the mystery out of using it.

[Multi Coated] Used it for the first time today to help darken storm clouds and appear more misty. Have not not used in any other situations. As day became lighter, I switched to a 9 stop ND filter to maintain the 30 to 40 second exposure value.
