[0.28 lb] This has been very helpful for reading small font where my cell phone's magnifier can be temperamental. The Viewing Spot is nice for really small areas to read and the overall shape works well. I much prefer using the magnifiers to trying to use a cell phone for magnifications.

[0.28 lb] I mainly bought it for the RGB feature. The color wheel on the app works well for picking colors. The size and shape help to fit in tight spots. BUY A BATTERY, it does not come with one.

[0.28 lb] I decided to get a couple of magnifiers after having difficulty reading the extremely small text on some papers. Using the magnifier on my cell phone was not very helpful. This magnifier has been really nice for this task. The 2x magnification is good for most applications and the Power Spot is good for the even smaller text. Overall, this is much nicer than a cell phone magnifier if you have a lot of small text to read.

[0.28 lb] This is a great light with lots of power. I only shoot stills, and use this as my key light in certain situations where I want continuous light.
The on/off switch is now recessed into the side of the body, so you can pack away the light without worrying if it will accidentally turn on during transport.

A lot brighter than version 1!

I love the ability to use the detachable remote control.

CONS: only one so far - difficult to read the LCD screen on the remote unless your are in full light. Version one is backlit, and easily read in low light.

[0.28 lb] One of my favorite lights. Easily hide it. Great for RGB accents. I actually made a set of barndoors using some rigid felt and armature wire that are actually useful since it has a narrow width. One downside is the push button that turns on and off tends to get hit if you lay the light on a flat surface facing up. I solved this by gluing a piece of foam the height of the power switch on the back of the handle. This solves the problem and allows the light to lay flat. I prefer the npf battery powered one to the built in one simply because a light of this form factor is most useful when it doesn't need to be plugged in. With a built-in battery I would only get a few hours of use and then have to have it plugged into continue to use. WIth this one I just swap out an npf battery and I can use the light all day outlet free. And no, it doesn't come with a battery or power cord. It states this in the in the box section, and I won't downgrade them for it due to the price point. I compared the daylight output of this to a similar genaray and this is brighter.

[0.28 lb] Just purchased this item recently and was quite surprised by the overall construction of the product, pleasantly surprised. When you first pick-up and hold the item it feels solid. The extra's with this light , the barn doors and the remote is an added plus. The battery so far seems to hold it charge extremely well. It is easy to use and can be mounted on a tripod. My only wish was that it was just a tiny bit brighter. For the overall price and quality construction it deserves 5 star rating.

[0.28 lb] I use the lights ( i went back next day and bought a second one) to illuminate my paintings at wedding events. I love the dial to set the right amount of light on the canvas as I paint. I plan to use these lights as a nocturnal lighting system outdoors as well.

[0.28 lb] I bought this magnifying glass to help with some smaller text. I find it to be very helpful and much easier to use than my cell phone’s magnifying features. I like the size and shape of the glass which is large enough to easily read most text.
