Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many receivers can be connected to one transmitter?

A: The number of TX and RX that can be used with the Avenview HDMI Unlimited LAN Extender Set over Single CAT6 is dependent on Bandwidth a Gigabit Ethernet switch is recommended. Also, up to 150 receivers can be connected and routed to at the same time.

Q: 2. Does this come with the power supply?

A: Yes, the MuxLab 5x1 HDMI Switcher with 4K Support comes with a 5V DC power adapter.

Q: 3. What is the latency in milliseconds?

A: According to IOGear "This unit is rated at near zero latency so it will be less than 1MS."

Q: 4. Has anybody used this device to feed HDMI over 200ft Cat5/6 to Black Magic switcher input?

A: We have tried to run 4 tv's 2 at 50ft and 2 at 100 - 200ft strictly HDMI off of this thing and it usually has an issue where 1 TV will turn off or loose signal. 4 tv's under 50ft usually works fine. Don't know about a single run though. if your converting over to cat 5 it would fall more on the hdmi to cat 5 converter I believe. This does not input or output cat 5/6.

Q: 5. Can you change the antennas on the Pyro S 4K? and if it is possible that in some update it will be implemented?

A: The antennas on the Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System are not permanently installed and are removeable. We are not aware of any updates to the antennas at this time.

Q: 6. To how many receivers and apps can the trasmitter transmit simultaneously. This is a question for Hollyland?

A: When the transmitter from the Hollyland Pyro S 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System is set to broadcast mode, the a single transmitter can output to up to four receivers and two smart devices running the app.

Q: 8. If i put the receiver in a cabinet will it still transmit to a tv 15 ft. Away? Or does it need to be line of site

A: For the DVDO Air 4K 2160p/30 HDMI Wireless Extender Kit (30'+) BH #DVAIR4K, it is made to be Line-of-Sight Connection. However even though this is what is listed at times I have found that they will still work between walls and cabinets. Unfortunately the only way to find out if it will work for you is to test it.

Q: 9. Hello, we need an hdmi over cat 6 splitter with poe with mixer, to mix 2 or more in hdmi signals to each one out signals, have you another model of this device with this option ?

A: No. The only well know systems that we carry are the A-Neuvideo line.

Q: 10. One user claims it does not work with extended view. Was this correct?

A: Yes, the MuxLab HDMI 1 x 2 Splitter BH #MUHDMI1X2SP is simply a splitter. A splitter will only mirror the same signal, it will not give you independent displays. To get independent displays, you need 2 separate video outputs on the computer.

[8 x 6 x 2.2"] I upgraded to the Ocean Matrix because the other brand I had was inconsistent in it's connection and it was frustrating. I use these with my Canon XA45 Camera and we extend 150 feet with no problem. LOVE IT!

[6 W] So far these device have about 6 hours on them. The video & audio are fantastic. I wish I had a device that told me how long the Cat 6 cable was between the 2 devices. It is long and must be close to maximum range. I did not think I would find something that could span the distance.

[8 x 6 x 2.2"] I purchased this device to transmit 1080p 50fps video and audio from the sound room at Church to a large screen TV in the lower level, a distance of ~100' over Cat6. The system worked flawlessly.

[0.965 lb] I have two systems running off of these in two different applications. One is as a straight 1to 1 extender, and the other is 1 Tx to 4 Rx through a standard switch. Both run 1080p with varying lengths of cable (50-125’). All devices have worked flawlessly since install. 2 years and one year respectively.

[1-Channel] This device works great when used with the Muxlab Extender. I came right out of the extender into a 10 port gigabit POE switch, and ran 5 monitors up to 200ft from the switch to each decoder. You do need a decoder for each monitor. Since the switch was POE I did not have to use the provided power supply for any decoder

[0.965 lb] I couldn’t update my previous review so this supersedes it.
B&H refunded our purchase and we used the Audinate AVIO Dante adaptors, which worked great!

[300 MHz] We have used this in our auditorium for almost a year over approximately an 150’ run for still images and 1080p video. Never had a drop out even during hour long video presentations and Set-Up was super easy. Going to get a second for a lobby monitor.
