The only way I managed to do it is to put the 2802 inside of the 1798 leaving some mm for the road to enter to the same hole. Is that correct or I can use 15mm rods connectors but in that case inside the rods there is no threads for the connectors. Thanks

There are many ways that connection could be made, among them your chosen method. Since there's no one single possible usage, we cannot describe a method as correct or incorrect. Ultimately, the connection must just be strong and stable.

[Black] 2 things, #1, it's thick enough to mount a cheese rod/bar on the front or back of the plate, this adds great flexibility in configuring your setup. #2, the fact that is only a hex nut on the QR is great, I wish it was all hex nuts. I personally hate wing nuts on my rigs and I replace them all with hex bolts that I buy off of amazon. That's right, I throw these terrible wing nuts in the garbage. If you think about what you're doing with these items, you'll realize that hand tightening everything is not a great idea.. 5

[Aluminum] Mounted this to my camera rig, made one adjustment to balance everything and it was perfect. The pad is very comfortable and the rig itself is built to actually fit your shoulder, I have no complaints thus far. 5
