This 10-stop, 82mm Kolari Vision Pro IRND Filter 82mm 10-Stopis optically engineered to be the most neutral filter in the visible light spectrum and beyond into the infrared range. This filter delivers neutral darkening in every wavelength, at every angle, and it is suitable for use in creating long-exposure photographic effects. Ultrawide angle tested and approved for excellent vignetting and color cast performance. Built with premium ultrathin, ultra-strong Corning Gorilla Glass, this filter is more than two times stronger than Schott B270 glass to direct impacts, and more resistant to scratches for better long-term durability. The slim-brass frame features knurling that helps with your grip, making it easier to attach and remove the filter.

This filter is designed specifically for photography applications. This filter is not suitable for direct solar viewing with the naked eye, including with optical viewfinders.

A: You can use this filter with the hood but rotating it would be a task.

A: This adapter ring is compatible with FotodioX and Cokin Z Pro filter holders only.

A: Yes, step up rings will not be a problem with this filter.

A: The lowest density on that filter is 2 stop reduction of light.

A: No, that filter does not reduce IR pollution. It is a Variable Neutral Density filter. The filter only reduces the amount of all light getting through.

Q: 7. Can this fit on Fuji 50mm F1.0 lens?

A: Yes, they are both 77mm threads.

Q: 8. Has anyone used it on an ultra-wide like the Sony 16-35 2.8? I'm worried how it will perform when ultra-wide.

A: The Polarpro filters are excellent and should produce high quality images without any vignetting on the wide end.

Q: 9. Does this have IR filtration built in? Because I plan on using it with a BMPCC 6K and don't want IR pollution changing the colors as I step down.

A: The PolarPro 82mm Peter McKinnon Edition Variable Neutral Density filter is made of Quartz Glass. Quartz Glass has excetionally high tramissision of the entire visible spectrum inclding UV and IR. If you need UV filtration use a seperate UV filter.

[Solid ND] I took my Nisi 10-stop filter out at 3p.m., an unheard of time for shooting landscapes. Just as Nisi claims there was no color tint to my image. I was delighted to not have to correct the WB that I set in my camera. I'm sold on this wonderful 10-stop ND filter. I would definitely recommend this to anyone show photographs landscapes. 5

[Glass] I have this and the 6 stop ND and I use them on my Nikon 16-35 lens for landscapes and they are very very good I am a NiSi fan and these are constructed absolutely excellent! 5

[82 mm] Awesome ghostly pictures of the ocean. This effect can only be achieved directly from the camera with long exposures. NiSi also has a free APP called NiSi Filters that helps you chose the correct shutter speed. This takes some of the mystery out of using it. 5

[Glass] Infrared takes a hole lot of experimenting. If you convert a camera I would say make a Full Spectrum Conversion. After that a full set of filters to se your options. This filter is one of the most user friendly filters you can get for it. Have fun with it if you get it. 5
