A: Yes it comes with cables but unfortunately Yamaha does not specify their length.

Q: 3. Can I remove the feet from the bottom of the receiver so that it will fit in the space where I want to put it?

A: The Yamaha YHT-4950U 5.1-Channel Home Theater System (BH # YAYHT4950UBL) is not designed to have the feet removed from the chassis of the receiver. The feet help dampen any vibration and help maintain ventilation and air flow beneath the unit. We do not recommend removing the feet as it may damage the receiver and void the manufacturer's warranty.

Q: 4. This may be a stupid question, in the first photo it shows all four speakers in the system and above that it looks like a soundbar. Does the sound bar come with the home theater system? Or do my eyes this deceive me?

It does have mounting holes at the back, but there are no bottom mounting holes. Dimensions (approx.) (w/h/d): 150 mm × 52 mm × 150 mm (6 in × 2 1/8 in × 6 in) Mass (approx.): 730 g (1 lb 10 oz) We also recommend visiting your local retailer to find a speaker stand that meets the size of these speakers and your stylistic preferences. [32 to 70"] This projector is now installed on my ceiling, and is for home theater use with a 100 inch screen. I have had it about a week now and am completely blown away. Until now my only exposure to 3D has been in movie theaters. The HD66 is comparable to this experience, mostly limited by my sound system. You do have to adjust the factory settings but when done WOW. The only negative I have is it requires the use of an adapter (3D-XL) to view Bluray 3D movies. However, for a combined price of less than a grand, it can't be beat. I would highly recommend its purchase by others. 5

[Black] I did a lot of research and looked into many different projectors, online specs review and field testing at electronic stores. I use the probe for for movies. The HD 66 is simy right on theory if you are looking for a compact, silent, yet sufficiently bright projector with deep connectivity. I'm using the HD connection - great to have, but it also has all other connections to cover your basics, VGA, s-video and component. The speaker is not worth mentioning, at least for movies, it may perhaps be ok for some sound effects during your next presentation or the odd clip here and there. But then I'm running everything at home through an LG HOME THEATER system, so the speaker is disabled and so far I didn't turn it back on. All in all a great projector for good money. 5

[32 to 70"] I am very pleased with this projector. Projecting onto a 10' screen from a Blu-Ray player, regular DVD's look very good and Blu Ray looks excellent. 720P is definitely good enough for me. I think the uprezing of regular DVD's from my Sony BDP-S570 Blu Ray player improves the contrast and look of regular DVD's. I am super impressed watching regular DVD's this way although of course on analysis they do look softer than Blu-Ray discs. Black levels are not super black but are fine. In regular viewing I do not notice any DLP issues. If I scan my head back an forth really quickly I notice a bit of rainbow effect, but seriously who does that when they are watching a movie? I just did it out of curiosity! Projector is small, light and I see the lamps are comparatively cheap. This for me makes a difference as I do not have to think of the cost of running the projector when lamp replacement is half the cost of some other projectors. I am using the lamp on economy/long life mode and it is plenty bright. Fan is audible but not distracting once the movie is playing. The one issue that should be considered is placement. With only a 1.05x lens finding a suitable place to mount the projector and a suitable screen size and placement took a fair amount of thought. I would say the image quality is higher sending it a 720P image from the Blu Ray player compared to a 1080P image and letting the projector downrez. Also the projector switches from different resolutions with no visible hiccups when this method is chosen. Bottom line - for the modest cost this is an excellent budget projector. Rating reflects that. It surpassed my expectations. 5

[Black] Out of the box settings are too bright and need to be calibrated for my purposes (primarily low light viewing). After calibration picture quality is outstanding for this price range. I use this with HDMI sources (HTPC & PS3). Note about Rainbow affect: It 'can' be noticeable in high contrast situations and if you dart your eyes back and forth across the screen and keep on doing that. Most people keep their eyes relatively in the same area, or move them slowly, so it 'likely' won't be an issue. I see it sometimes but not enough to bother me. For the Home-Theatre-in-a-Box portability and placement, I got this along with the Elite F100NWH portable screen, and JVC TH-BA1 soundbar. My friends can't believe the 5 min setup and take down. 5
