[LED] I just purchased a new Ikelite housing for my Olympus TG-7 camera. Since I'm not independently wealthy, I had to defer the purchase of a strobe light. My poor man's solution was to buy this flashlight bracket and mount my dive light (which is reasonably bright for a flash light). It obviously can replace a good strobe, but for $35 I do have more light. The product appears to be very good quality, and it comes with two strips of padding that have adhesive on one side to help support the flashlight. My light fit well without the pads, but I'll probably install the pads just to see what happens. I have no idea how effective the adhesive will be under water, but if they fail, there are many other Velcro options. If you looking for something to hold a dive light, this is a great option.

[4x AA] First, I want to thank B&H for having great service, great prices and fast shipping. Regarding this light, I use it on my boat all the time. It's rugged, bright, easy to handle and waterproof. On a boat you need to always have safety gear (flashlight) in functioning order. No corrosion on this light whatever. This is the second one I own. First is still going strong after 3 years. Although on my first, the switch can sometimes be a little finicky...

[ 5 Hour] This is a really great housing. I have been using it for surf photography. The housings made for surf photography can run you a couple of thousand, minimum, so this one is an awesome way to get started! It's a bit tricky without being able to test the settings and the lens port requires some cropping in post when using wide angle lenses. Totally worth it though!

[ 5 Hour] This is indeed the best headlamp, for work in gas dangerous zones.

[ 5 Hour] This is a spare four AA cell battery sled for a Sound Devices MixPre-3. Like the MixPre-3 itself, this part is well made and of excellent quality. It is light weight and made of plastic, but was designed that way to keep the MixPre at about one pounds. Anything Sound Devices makes is first rate in design and build quality.

[ 5 Hour] Decided to get this over cheaper alternatives mainly due to:1) optical glass for better image quality2) adaptor to hold front of glass against your lens which really help in preventing any vignetting I do have previous experience using sports housings by aquatech for sports photography and got this more for casual beach side usage. Overall, am very satisfied by the quality of the housing and the images produced out of it.

[LED] This really is an amazing housing for the price. The first one I had I used I actually found in the basement at my parents house. It had been sitting there for 10+ years and I did a leak test, still worked, and I used it to do surf photography for the first time. It did eventually split open at the side, but I did catch it before going in the water. It lasted a good 6 months which was amazing because it was at least 10 years old. So I bought another one! I loved the second one for a long time and my mistake was leaving it in the car in the heat :-( It shrunk because it got too hot in my trunk, then when I put the camera in it, the housing was soft and the side split open. My fault here for sure. So I bought another one, hahahaha :-) Moral of the story here is to just continuously do water checks for your housing, it is soft housing so just be aware of not leaving it in your car for a day when you aren't using it, but this has been such an amazing an affordable option for me until I can buy a proper water housing. The only downside is it is too hard to change the settings once the camera is in the housing. So I use masking tape to keep my lens set at infinity, then I set my aperture and shutter speed depending on the light, sometimes auto if it's one of those days, and then just go for it! I have taken some amazing photos and love love love how much I've learned to get creative with my settings because of the restriction of being able to change it in the moment :-) It gets 5 stars because for a tenth of the price I get to create amazing photos and enjoy surf photography! I don't have to wait to spend 2500+ on a housing to do what I want :-) And as with any type of water housing, there is always a risk of ruining your camera. I already lost one camera to the sea :-) But the joy of ocean photography is so worth it so I'm willing to jump into the possibility of doing it again! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
