[Leica M] Ready to sell a 50mm Sumicron, I decided to give this adapter a try on my J4 and J5. The Nikon zooms are outstanding but this is better clarity, contrast, color and detail. All! And f2. Yeah, sure, its all manual- but then it always was! The only practical limitation otherwise is the focusing on the screen; nudge, nudge as opposed to the instant lock-on with the M rangefinder. Do yourself a huge favor and don't sell your M glass until you try this bad boy on your 1. Superb build quality and utility for a pittance. Go B&H! 5

[Leica M] The latest Fotodiox Nikon F Pro Lens Adapter for Leica M-Mount that I just purchased is very much improved over an earlier version Fotodiox Nikon F to Leica M-Mount that I purchased a couple of years ago. The Nikon F bayonet flange is a new design with retention springs similar to what is inside a Nikon camera lens mount. The result is much smoother engagement and removal of the lens from the adapter. Yet the retention of lens in the adapter is more secure. The Leica M-Mount side of the adapter is now one piece with the aluminum body and has a hard anodize finish. This seems to mount onto Leica bodies smoothly. All in all, a much improved lens adapter for the same price as the earlier version, and at this price, very much a quality unit at a bargain price through B&H. 5

[Leica M] The Fotodiox adapter has much nicer finish and tighter tolerances than the cheap adapters available from China through @, yet it costs far less than the Leica or Voigtlander R to M adapers. There is absolutely no wobble when lenses are mounted, and I trust the latches not to fail. Great quality for a moderate price. 5

[Aluminum] I recently invested in a wonderful Leica M10 plus 50mm f/2 Summicron. I also have a healthy assortment of Pentax lenses for my K1 and K5iis. My new Novoflex adapter works perfectly, and allows me to use my zooms and longer telephotos that Leica doesn't supply. That said, I am saving up to add more Leica lenses. Novoflex has lived up to the great reviews. 5
