This Kondor Blue Ultimate Rig for Canon R5, R6, R, R5 Cfrom Kondor Blue Ultimate Rig for Canon R5, R6, R, R5 Cis designed to protect, add accessory mounts, and provide a run/stop trigger for your Canon EOS R5, R6, or R camera. The bottom of this four-sided aluminum cage features an Arca-Swiss type quick release system for fast repositioning on different supports. The included top handle features a run/stop trigger for both video and still capture plus multiple accessory mounts.

When mounted, the cage maintains access to the camera's ports, slots, and buttons and is designed to eliminate the twisting of the camera within the cage. This cage features a cold shoe with a safety pin, an ergonomic grip, both top and side NATO rails, and both HDMI and USB Type-C cable clamps to prevent accidental pullouts. The 70-plus accessory threads include multiple 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style anti-twist threads.

[Arca-Type Plate] I love this cage. Been looking for a cage that would provide me a quick conversion from shooting video to shooting photos. I can go straight from the tripod and just pull the camera out to go hand held with no cage but still maintain the arca Swiss plate to put it on my gimbal then slide back into the cage where it can be in the full right, pop it off the rails with the cage for handheld mode in a snap with a quick release. just overall a great flexible system. [Aluminum] I decided to go with this one after originally purchasing the non battery grip cage. I really wanted to use my battery grip on my R5 and have two battery in at a time. My only concern here is that it doesn’t seem to allow me to put the clamp because the camera is too long now. It’s a semi big thing for me as I don’t want to be messing up the flimsy micro hdmi on the R5. For that I would give it a 4.5 but there’s no such score. 5

[2.135 lb] This thing is great! You will need a separate cable for the remote trigger for the eos r. You also will need to change settings on the camera but it does work great with the eos r. 5

[2.135 lb] Great cage for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a cage for their Canon R,R6 or R5! The Kondor Blue cage fits my R5 perfectly and allows for almost any mounting configurations neatly and without allot of hassle. The top handle breaks down and builds back up in seconds with the nato rail system. The remote trigger works flawlessly once you set the shutter button to start recording video on a full press. The cage was shipped to South Africa via DHL and I have no complaints there. 5

[Aluminum] Thus cage is a bit more than the others but it is for a reason. It is built better tougher and has more holes for customization. I see the person that reviews this item before me gave it one star because the cage shows what it does and they chose not to read the description of the item or look at the photos. The cage does it's job perfectly. 5

[Aluminum] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool! 5
