Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there an assembly manual? Mine came in quite a few pieces and wall. Some of them are obvious how to put together others are not.

A: No, but feel free to reach out to our live chat team for step by step assistance. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/livechat.jsp

Q: 2. Can the arm hold a monitor?

A: The 240FS stand and arm can support about 20lbs. anything you mount would need to be under that limit.

Q: 3. Is this safe and quiet enough (no squeaks rendering the shockmount useless) to use on suspended large condenser mics?

A: The photos show dynamic, lighter microphones, which is a good indication of the appropriate use of these quick-release devices. A red safety collar indicates when the quick release isn't fully engaged. Typically used in performance/stage environments where fast turnover needed.

Q: 4. Can i use my avenger c stand riser column to replace the silver stand from godox 240fs to make my avenger c stand have a wheel? Thank u

A: This will not work because the wheeled light stand is 1.5 " and the base of the c stand is 11/8".

Q: 5. Does Godox have a recommended weight limit?

A: The support weight on the Godox 240FS Wheeled Light Stand (7.9') is approxemelty 20 lb.

Q: 6. Is the vertical tube of this model aluminum or steel?

A: Godox does not list the material of the column on the Godox 240FS Wheeled Light Stand (7.9'). Chances are it is steel.

Q: 7. Can a baby pin be used in place of camera mounting plate?

A: Yes you could use a double pin such as the Impact SRP-113 Long Double Stud 5/8" B&H # IMSRP113 in place of the camera mounting plate.

Q: 8. Would this be able to support the weight of a DSL with a 70-200mm attached?

A: The following unit supports 20lbs payload.

Q: 9. I dont understand the 3ft 9 in min height, why can't it go lower than that, is there a way to get the minimum height lower if I don't need the 7.9' max height?

A: The design of that stand makes it have a minimum height of 3.9 feet. it cannot be changed to make it work lower. Note, the stand is over 7.9 feet always. The arm on that stand slides on the stand 3.9 feet to 7.9 feet.

Q: 10. Is it possible to purchase a second riser arm for the stand?

A: For some stands it is possible but not for this Godox stand. We do not sell the Godox sliding handle on it's own and other handles will not work with this stand.

[25.32 lb] As a mobile DJ, I've bought several different tripod speaker stands over the years, but I decided it was time to upgrade to something to make it easier for me to lift my 50-pound EV ETX cabinets. These Gator Frameworks ID stands are not only sleek and stylish, but they are solid and allow me to raise/lower the heavy speakers with ease. No more fumbling with pins and tightening twist knobs. Just release the collar to extend the lower legs and do the same to raise the speaker into position. Well worth the investment!

[25.32 lb] These speaker stands are a great invention and heaven sent. I'm 62 years old and do a lot of DJ work, now I don't have to go through a rough time to lift my JBL PRX 715 anymore the Frameworks does it for me very easy. These are the best in the world.I cant say anything negative about these stands.

[25.32 lb] First the bad: These are not black !! They're sort of a graphite grey, so they don't match the rest of pretty much everything on the bandstand. It's a minor niggle, but also a very silly design flaw, IMO. Also, the knob that holds the foot-extender in place tends to loosen up very quickly. I'v goten in the habit of tweaking it tight each time I collapse the stands, so no biggie, but it's still a flaw. Everything else is just fantastic: Very sturdy. Taller than I expected. (the listed height is to the bottom of the speaker, not the tip of the stand. The air system works reasonable well, even with my 85 lb speakers. Even the case is great: Very heavy and nicely reinforced. Expensive, but worth it. I just wish they were black.

[25.32 lb] This stand feels like real professional quality.
It's a pretty simple design, but the build is strong and sturdy.
The adjustment / locking mechanism is easy to operate with one hand, and feels like it's never going to let me down (or run around and desert me)..
Folds up nice and compact too.

[25.32 lb] I picked up, and used a set of these stands, for the first time, this weekend. My initial impression is very positive. Case: Heavy duty. Two separated compartments(one for each stand). The two-pack with the case is imperative. These stands are beautiful, and should always be protected Aesthetics: Best looking speaker stands on the market. No more beat-up label scratched speaker stands, with bulky tripod legs. This stand folds into a single cylinder. Clamp design is simple. But, if the clamp isn't facing you, it's a little difficult to know which way to release it. Engineering: Pneumatics - Awesome. I set my K12.2's on the stand, flipped open the clamp, and up it went. If your speaker is under the weight limit for the lift, you'll need to pull it down, with a little force. It would be nice to have some way of indicating your preferred speaker height (I'm OCD, 'nuff said). Speaker Pole: Adapts to 35 mm. It would have been nice to put a plastic insert at the top of the pole. As it is now, it's exposed metal. When you sit your speaker on the speaker pole, the contact is metal to metal. Tripod Design: Overall design is very solid. I never felt my speakers were compromised, due to shabby construction of the stand. As noted by another reviewer, the knob to retain the extension, came loose during setup. Also, the red rubber feet on the bottom of the stand were easily removed. Hopefully, they won't loosen further, over time. I appreciate the time that Gator put into designing these speaker stands. They are definitely worth the price. Gator has managed to change my perception of the products with this series. I'm now considering the Frameworks microphone stands.
