A: Hello I'm not an eartech rep so maybe they can give exact anwsers. In either of my sets the rubber button on the earcup is used for the power and pairing on the remote headsets. On the master headsets however the power button is a physical rocker switch on the bottom of the earcup and the rubber button is shaved down but does still function as the pair button. Not sure about the light ont he carger. When mine are charging the led is red and when its done it stays lit green . Hope this info helps... best wishes! IMHO: Overall a great product! Q: 9. I need to be able to communicate between instructor and student in tandem seated sailplanes. will the dual-ear Eartec ultralite headset work? What do I need?

A: Not exactly sure what that entails. I used these when filming marching band competitions. We have one person up ontop of the press box and the other on the field. So approximately 70-100 yards of distance. Never a problem. Sounds as clear as talking on the phone.
