[Aluminum] This body cap is totally unnecessary, but I'm glad I was able to get one. It's beautifully milled, totally solid and heavy (for its size). It protects your camera's sensor just like the plastic one does, but it also engages the lens mount lock just like a lens would, so you need to push the lens release button to remove it. A+ 5

[Nikon F] Do I need this? Hell, no. There are cheap plastic ones. But since my lenses are EF and I want to just leave the adapter on connected and secured by my Mid49 cage, I wanted this. And Kondor Blue provides me with a luxe looking cap that breaks the everything is black, what are all these pieces? routine. One of the things I love about KB. I feel like I should be wearing sunglasses indoors when I put my lenses away. 5

[Aluminum] I occasionally have to fly for projects, and that means sometimes having to check my camera case. I never liked that the basic plastic Sony body cap could easily twist off. Granted, this body cap is a bit expensive for what it is, but I really appreciate that it clicks into place and requires the lens release button to be pushed before it can be removed. It's just a little extra peace of mind. 5
