The shell is crafted from lightweight molded EVA foam with reinforced stitches. The foam interior absorbs the impact of small shocks and bumps, while a large zipper runs around the edges, allowing for easy access to your gear. A pair of rivet-enforced top handles offer a comfortable yet secure grip while you carry your controller.

A: That will fit nicey.

A: The internal dimensions of the Auray WMC-500 is 2 x 11 x 4.75 . The Rode NTG-2 measures 10.94 . They will work together, but it will be a snug fit.

Q: 9. Does it FIT the Sarasonic UwMic9 Kit 2 RX9 + RX9 + TX9 ?

A: No, the Auray WMC-500 is too small for the Saramonic UwMic9 2-person system. A better option for a customizable foam-lined case is the Pelican 1200 Case with Foam - Black (B&H # PE1200FB) or for a case with pre-cut foam, the SKB iSeries Waterproof Case for Sony UWP-D Two-Channel Wireless Bodypack Mic System (B&H # SK3I09074BH3) will also work for the UwMic9. Q: 10. Can you remove the foam entirely?

[Handle] I actually bought this for my Rev 5 since I couldn't find any cases for it at the time. But now that I just got the Rev 7, I switched out the Rev 5 the Rev 7 is a perfect fit! Plenty padding all around the sides, bottom and top, fully protecting the controller. Unlike other cases that have no padding on the sides or on the bottom. The shell is strong enough that I feel comfortable stacking lighter items on top. Zipper is high quality and works smoothly. Handle's seem to be sewed on strong. I added a small strip of eggshell padding to protect the front of the controller where the mic and fader control knobs are. Even though the controller is firmly seated in place because of the main padding, I just feel more comfortable having that covered. The extra compartment to hold wires, etc...is quite useful to keep all components for the controller all together in one place. It's a little funky to use though, you really need to attach the velcro properly on the bottom and add the 2 secure straps to the top to keep it in place. It's minor, but it does annoy me having to fuss with all those to put it back in place every time I set up and breakdown. Otherwise, the case does exactly what it's supposed to do and is much lighter than using a flight case. 5

[Black] I needed a case for taking extra filters on trips that was lighter and more dynamic than the leather cases that my NiSi filters came with. This case fit the bill nicely. It's light, well protected, the interior pockets are nice and soft. You could probably even fit a smaller filter holder and CPL in here if you wanted. 5
