Add 15mm LWS and quick release support to your professional camera rig with this raven black Kondor Blue 15mm LWS Bridge Plate for ARRI RED URSA C70 VENICEfrom Kondor Blue. The bridge plate is designed to work with ARRI-standard dovetail rigs and can support larger pro cameras from ARRI and RED and camera models such as the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini line, Canon EOS C70, and the Sony FX6, Rialto, FS5, F5, and VENICE. It features an ARRI-standard dovetail base, a quick release camera plate, and a 15mm LWS rod system.

The quick release camera plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws, front M4 screws for a lens support, and rubber padding on top to protect the camera from scratching or twisting. The dovetail base offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads. Its 15mm rod ports pass through the entire base and are secured with four locking levers, making it easy to add two sets of optional rods of different lengths through the front and rear. The bridge plate features a standard 3.3" riser height to match the camera's lens height, and optional riser plates will be available to support additional camera models.

Q: 6. Are there mounting holes on the bottom for attaching a quick release plate? Or do you have to use it with a Tilta dovetail?

A: There are two 1/4" and one 3/8" threads on the bottom along with the Arri style clamp. Pro tip. The Arri style baseplate and dovetail can be tricky to mount and slide. Do NOT apply oil or any lubrication. This will only gather dirt and make the sliding worse. Instead, make sure the pieces are scrupulously clean. Then it will work as intended.

A: The ZGCINE V-Mount Battery Plate with 15mm LWS Mount produces power for accessories. It does not have the ability to charge the battery.

[Baseplate] I've looked at all other top plates. This one not only looks sleek to impress my clients, but on the C70, this lets me add a Hdmi Transmitter and Rode Audio reciever while still rocking a shotgun mic. Top handle hand space is still not compromised. I can't imagine loving it anymore then I do. 5

[Baseplate] Not much to say. I wanted to use the BSA-1 shoulder pad with the Sony F55, and it works! BH was unable to verify compatibility, so I reached out to Arri directly, and they were able to confirm compatibility. I've since purchased a BPA-5 and a BPS-2 for mounting the camera on a dovetail. If you're using an F55 in 2024, you're using Arri PCA, and you want to modernize your support hardware, this is an outstanding solution. For those who are wondering, this part (as well as the Arri f55 baseplate) are compatible with the Burano as well. 5

[1.29 lb] I create my own camera rigs with B&H sale items and this cheese plate has exponentially improved my setup for my BMPCC4K. This cheese plate has allowed me to organize my AC adapter, DC plugin and XLR connector at the rear of my camera setup attached to the 15mm rods. I purchased two of these and it's design allows for easy and creative ways to accessorize pretty much anything. Your only limitation is your own creativity. You won't be disappointed with this product if you use it creatively. 5

[1.29 lb] I could be wrong about this, others are prone to disagree, but it gets complicated. This was purchased to complement the Kondor Blue 501 Adjustable Baseplate. Without this piece of nicely machined, symmetrical alloy, spring releases on both ends, there isn't a large flat surface on the Baseplate to attach directly to any other surface. The Dovetail fits nicely into the Baseplate. Dandy. With some platforms that might well be sufficient. However, most tripod heads and surface mounts have their own dovetail receptacle which require yet another dovetail plate. What you end up with is plates mounted back to back, or more accurately: front to front. Or am I missing something? One minor annoyance: my two plates front to front were not thick enough for the length of a standard ¼-20 camera attachment screw. The end of the screws impede the free sliding of the baseplate along the dovetail. Had to add a bit of spacer between the two dovetails. I know- clear as mud. But there you have it. 5
