The Galaxy Audio AS-1200R Wireless Bodypack Receiver with EB4 Earbuds works with the AS-1200T transmitter (available separately) to provide wireless onstage monitoring for musicians and performers at a maximum distance of 300'.

The AS-1200 system provides 210 user-selectable UHF frequencies to choose from to create a clear, interference-free wireless transmission channel. Once you've used the intuitive controls to set the receiver to the same channel as the transmitter (available separately), simply plug the EB4 earbuds into the 3.5mm jack on the receiver, and you've got an in-ear monitoring system that reduces stage noise and helps control feedback.

Easy-to-read LEDs and a backlit LCD show the left and right audio levels, channel and frequency, stereo/mono mode, lock status, and remaining battery life. Two AA alkaline batteries will power the receiver for up to 5 hours.

[±15 kHz] This life saver bag did just that. It was a life saver. Didn't have money for a new mic so I had to protect my current one. With boom mic stands that constantly tip over (and I've caught it every time) I needed something to weigh it down so I didn't have to worry about it falling over. I got some sand at Wal-mart for about 4 dollars and then filled the Life Saver Sand Bag. THAT took a very long time. But once it was in, I was set. And I love this bag. Its nice and heavy and I never have to worry about the stand falling over. Its not going ANYWHERE.

[>80 dBA] I have purchased the Life Saver Bag hoping to lighten my load when I traveled to a location for a shoot. I was going to return it thinking it wasn't going to work well. I am so glad that I kept it. You can use water or sand to fill up the Life Saver. I have chose to use water. I would fill up the life saver at the location and dump the water out afterwards making it easier for me to move it around. If there is no running water at the location, I will fill the Life Saver with water before leaving and put it in to a small plastic box just incase it does decide to leak and then I dump the water out afterwards. So far I had this Life Saver for about a year and have not had it leak on me yet. I use the bag to stabilize my c-stand for my wireless strobe. Couldn't be happier.

[±15 kHz] I added this extra receiver pack to my order of the CAD GXLIEM4 Quad-mix system, as I'm expecting to have an extra session player or two joining my band on stage. See my review for the GXLIEM4 system in general.

The sound quality comes close to that of a Shure system that I used to use, and I love that you can add as many additional receiver packs as needed to the system, you just have to share between 4-mixes (which is like having an embarrassment of riches). The earbuds that come with it sound good and get the job done, but it's easy to upgrade those and find some that sound even better.

I walked from my basement into my garage and out front of my house without experiencing any dropouts. The volume control is nice, though I found that you could max it out on the pack and still need a bit more volume from the board. Balance it out to work for you. I'm driving a little more volume from our board so that we can make volume adjustments up and down on our packs as needed.

These packs are super easy to pair with their GXLIEM systems and so far the battery life has been really good. They do feel a little more flimsy than my old Shure system (plastic build instead of metal) but as long as you take care of them they'll be fine. Very affordable to replace or get an extended warranty if something happens to it.

Overall I'm very excited to have this system and my band mates really enjoy being wireless!

[±15 kHz] I used water to fill and it was still way heavier than any saddlebag style counter weight. Water filling is a little cumbersome (the surrounding area WILL get wet, but water makes ot much easier to empty out on teardown for transport and storage. Appears to be sturdily made from heavy plastic.

[±15 kHz] The Life Saver sand bag is exactly what was needed to place over the base of our outdoor directional sign. Heavy enough to keep the sign from being blown or knocked over by people walking by (we filled it w/sand). And because it surrounds the base of our sign, the Life Saver has made the sign and the sand bag itself theft proof. Everyone at the Hotel has commented how practical the product is.

[>80 dBA] I have a light-weight lighting kit - speed lights, light-weight lightstands, etc. I use the Life Saver to stabilize a lightstand holding a softbox on a boom. It works well for this. I fill it with water when I get to the location, and empty it before I leave, so I have a good weight on site, and almost no weight to carry around. As long as you can get water at your location, this is a great way to have a 22-lb weight that turns into a few ounces when you're in transit. I've only used it a couple of times so far, so I can't comment on its durability.

[UHF] I use these to replace the Photoflex water bag I use to have. I shoot a lot on the beach, and travel international. Impossible to carry weight bags along! So theses are perfect, I always find water wherever I go! I use them on light stands and also on a Kessler crane (to replace the gym weights) when I shoot video with DSLR's. Looks like they are built solid (the plastic is thick) and they are basically perfect for travel.
