Q: 10. Which ring size I should get for Sirui 50mm anamorphic lens?

A: The following focus gear ring should work https://bhpho.to/3e64SPM, as the filter thread of the lens is 67mm, but you may also opt for a slightly smaller one if this one still feels a little loose. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only provides details of the front, outermost diameter, which is 69mm, thus we're estimating that a 66-68mm focus gear ring should fit nicely.

[4.7 x 4.6 x 1"] I had bought a Sensei pro step up ring before for my 100-400 lens. These new step up rings are very similar and are good quality like the other ones. The brass construction helps against accidental stuck rings. They fit into my circular polarizer well and is easy to use. One tip when using step up rings is that you want to buy the normal UV filter and not a nano or slim version as there are not enough threads in the slim UV filters.

[72 mm to 77 mm] I bought this brass ring as a replacement for an aluminum one, which was constantly getting stuck onto various filters. Decoupling the filters and the ring was a major hassle, even with lens wrenches. While the brass seemed a bit expensive, it turned out to be well worth it to me. It goes on and comes off easily. I'd buy it again.

[Aluminum] I needed a quality step up ring now that I've grown my lens family and this is one that is worth the price.

[4.7 x 4.6 x 1"] I have these in a couple sizes. The smaller ones, like 72mm are somewhat weaker in magnetic attachment, but they work OK. The larger 82mm size is much stronger and I like them even better. Having used magnetic filter attachment for some time now, the screw on ones seem just awful. So tedious.

[72 mm to 77 mm] Don't buy the aluminum ones, they don't seem resistant to heavy work.

[Aluminum] The brass step up rings are much easier to work with than the cheaper versions. If you're swapping filters more than one a month, brass is worth it.
