Q: 1. For mounting is says "Mic Stand Socket (Bottom)". So I cannot mount it on top of a std speak stand? I would need to purchase a boom?

A: Mic Stand Socket = 5/8" which is a standard Microphone stand thread size Speaker stand is usually 1 1/2" or 1 3/8" in diameter so will not fit.

Q: 2. I see it says 300 w, and it might be hard to answer this question but i an unsure of how loud this speaker can get so if theres any references you can make to know how loud this speaker can get?

A: I seriously doubt the amp is rated at 300 watts continuous. It will work at a reasonable listening level in a room approximately 1000 to 1500 square feet which is what I use it for.

Q: 3. The "built in" rechargeable battery; is it replaceable?

A: The built-in battery for the Mackie Battery-Powered Ring Light Kit with Convertible Selfie Stick (6") [BH #MAMRING6] is not replaceable.

Q: 4. Is this Mackie P/N 2047360-09?

A: The Mackie manufacturer's number for this bag is THUMP12A/BST BAG, which is the model without wheels.

A: Yes that would be directly compatible.

A: It does not have a wireless receiver built into it. You would need to connect your own receiver to it.

[Class-D] This speaker rocks. It's really loud, made from very great materials and super easy to setup and use. Because it's plastic, it's not heavy, so great for gigging or DJ events. Once again, Mackie is awesome. For the price, $399 on sale, it's amazing. Two of these would make an awesome DJ setup as well. 5

[Active 2-Way] El propsito de la Mackie SRT215 Two-Way 15 en nuestra organizacin, es para trabajar en evento en interior y exterior. Ya se probo en exterior para unos talleres a agricultores. Tiene gran capacidad de sonido para satisfacer un buen volumen en exterior. Enfrentandose a los ruidos del exterior. Es relativamente liviana para su transportacin. Una gran variedad de entradas en 1/4 y xlr en la bocina. La pre equalizaciones que ofrece son excelentes. Un rea a mejorar es que no tiene como evitar que la bocina al colocarlar en el stand se mantenga firme, No tiene como otras Mackie un tornillos que ajusta el tripode del stand para su firmeza. Seguiremos usandola y daremos otros reviews. 5

[1400 W Peak ] These speakers were a great replacement to the FBT speakers that we used to have. They are the same price, but have much better sound quality. The audio quality and bass were better than we have heard out of any other speakers in their price range. We have purchased two additional of this line because we were so happy with them. 5

[1400 W Peak ] I had some 10” Alto TX210s that my special needs son uses for DJing. He was offered a job for an outside event at a local ski resort where these speakers had significant volume drop off at around 40-50 yds. The venue required coverage of a couple hundred yards. I bought the Thumps because of the base output and reviews, as I did not want to haul around subwoofers too. I looked at cheaper speakers, but wanted a durable cabinet that was weather resistant. I also looked at buying passive speakers with an amplifier. I purchased the Thumps as they had built in dual amplifiers with anti clip features and would have less cables to move around. They also came with some very sturdy poles and speaker cases in a package deal.. when I did a sound check at the venue I was amazed at how good the speakers sounded, with a very good amount of base. They project hundreds of yards with full sound and at a relatively low volume setting. These speakers will work great for him for many years to come. 5

[129 dB SPL] From a small band perspective, these are loud and clear. I wish there was a bluetooth off switch though. The only way to mute bluetooth seems to be with the app. Once it is connected to a device using the app at least it doesn't seem to be able to connect to another device usuing the app. ie. someone hijacking your speakers. The bluetooth and speaker linking does work well. The audio is very clear, and they are pretty loud. For a sub $500 40lb cabinet made out of plastic it sounds good. Certainly good enough for small gigs. As far as the voicing options, live or monitor sounds best to me using an analog mixer with no other outboard gear. Overall I think this a great buy at this price point. You will want some kind of cover or bag though, they did away this the screen and went with control knobs which is fine, but I feel like they could be a little more vulnerable to me. 5
