Klipsch's proprietary Tractrix geometry in the horn is specifically crafted to efficiently transfer the high frequencies of the tweeter to the listener. This second-generation Tractrix horn is larger for better directivity and a wider overall soundstage. The Tractrix horn can accomplish this level of audio fidelity and smooth frequency response by being combined with a phase plug and a compressed molded silicon face.

Part of Klipsch's Reference line, the LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) works to minimize distortion for more detailed audio reproduction.

The housing of the tweeter in this pair of bookshelf speakers clarifies the high-frequency signal by reducing standing waves that would otherwise create unwanted harmonics.

Another signature aspect of Klipsch's Reference Premiere speakers are the Cerametallic woofers. This bookshelf speaker is equipped with a single 6.5" woofer, and the Cerametallic construction keeps it lightweight, yet rigid, to both maximize acoustic efficiency and minimize distortion. The second-generation, voice coil is 70% larger in diameter to ensure flawless reproduction with better power handling, cone control, and linearity. The addition of aluminum shorting rings adds to the improved power handling and lower distortion, while the motor structure itself improves the transit response adds more control with increased speed and improved accuracy.

If you prefer a deeper bass from your speakers, the integrated ports of the RP-600M II utilize Klipsch's Tractrix geometry to produce clean and punchy low-end frequencies. The geometry allows the air to quickly and efficiently exit the speaker, which also reduces port noise. Customized inner flares further lowers noise by reducing air turbulence entering the port.

Dual input terminals on the back of each speaker allow you to bi-wire and bi-amp with additional (optional) cabling. Bi-wiring allows you to separate the high and low frequencies to each cable. By separating them, interference and distortion are minimized, delivering a clearer sound that has more accuracy in your listening environment. The bi-amping can generate more power for your speakers by using outboard crossovers with (optional) separate amplifiers.

The RP-600M II features audiophile-grade wiring and easily accessible aluminum binding posts for any connection type.

Klipsch uses internally braced furniture-grade MDF for a durable and attractive appearance. The ebony vinyl finish includes satin-painted baffles that have a scratch-resistant coating.

You have the option of exposing the copper-colored woofer and tweeter or covering them up with a discrete speaker grille. The grille magnetically attaches to the front of the RP-600M II.

Replacing typical rubber bumpers are cork pads, which work to protect the surfaces of a stand or table.

[Bass-Reflex] I purchased these speakers around 6 weeks ago. The voice and highs on this speaker are just phenominal. They lack a bit in the lows but that's not why I purchased them for. I wanted a set of speakers for the mid and highs and these are perfect. I have fell in love with them, ans for me they are perfect. These are my first Klipsch speakers and they are a pleasure to listen too over and over again. These are keepers until something better comes out, but I don't know how you can get more perfect than these.

[Bass-Reflex] Replaced a smaller pair of bookshelf speakers that replaced a pair of towers. I thought the previous ones had a good sound stage, until I replaced the with these. What a difference that these made. For a “bookshelf” speaker the sound is amazing. Nice full range sound, even without the subwoofer. Add the sub and boom everything comes alive. Paired with a Marantz 7015, Klipsch SW120, and Klipsch SR 502’s. This is a very balanced system all around and don’t shy away from thundering movies. If there is a smaller space that needs a nice deep and clean sound I would recommend these for that.

[Bass-Reflex] I’ve had these speakers for a few weeks now and can easily say that they are an excellent pair of book shelf speakers. I have the speakers in a home theater setup powered by a Pioneer Elite VSX LX305. I performed the complete DIRAC sound calibration through the receiver and made minors tweaks to my liking. I’ve tested full Dolby Atmos movies, as well as two channel music from vinyl and streamed music via Spotify. Every source sounds great. The bass output is incredible and the mids and highs are very well controlled. The pair sonically blends with my SVS PB100 sub perfectly. Even without the sub, these speakers put out plenty of full range sound. The build quality very good and is similar to other speakers in this price range. I really like the binding posts for the speaker connection. Overall, I would highly recommend these speakers without hesitation.

[1500 Hz ] Sunday morning email deals from the amazing B&H.
I purchased the Klipsch speakers as soon as I saw the incredible deal. Thanks B&H as the timing was perfect.
These speakers sound perfect in the 12x15 foot room they are in. There are two sets of terminals if you were to biwire
for high and low frequency output from amplifier A&B.terminals. A nice feature. The speakers sound excellent without doing this if you choose using one set of terminals. I have listened mostly to vinyl and internet radio.
There are clear highs and clean mids using bass and treble at setting a bit past flat neutral. The speakers have a rear portal and if I move to the side there is more bass presence. A subwoofer may be added if needed.
These speakers work for my listening of classical music and solo guitar. These speakers are built solid and have weight. I have the speaker screens on because I like the clean look. (all black cabinet and screen). Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Klipsch speakers from B&H.
