Also performance would be greatly impacted as this monitor is designed to work with a very high speed USB-C connection, or at minimum a high speed USB 3.0 connection. It may still work with a slower USB connection, but based on port speed, available processing power, and how it's connected, your mileage may vary and you may find the performance to be unsatisfactory. Short answer: it MAY work, but you might not like it.
