Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How good is the noise canceling on these headsets? I currently have a similar set of Eartec headsets, but I find it difficult to hear my team in quiet filming situations where I need to whisper directions to them.

A: The CAME-TV Kuminik8 offers natural isolation and noise supression based on the built of the headsetand it is very good at that. I am not seeing any specs that confirm noise cancellation on this headset.

Q: 2. What's the difference between this and the Ultralites? Looks like same headset body.

A: The Eartec UltraLite headset has all of the electronics built into the earcups to eliminate the need for a belt-worn transceiver. The Max4G is a midweight headset which does not have the electronics built in and requires a wired connection to a separate transceiver like the UltraPAK.

Q: 3. Can you plug the hub into a mixer

A: While the CAME-TV WAERO Duplex Digital Wireless Foldable Headsets With Hardcase (4-Pack, US) does not include a hub, the compatible hub unit for this system (CAME-TV WAERO Duplex Digital Headset Hub) is meant to accommodate a headset connection as opposed to one from a mixer.

Q: 4. Is it possible to set up the record function with a BMPCC 4K?

Q: 5. How is the clarity? I need to hear whispers over coms and most coms I've used have poor audio quality.

Q: 6. I'm considering buying this for use in New Zealand. Which frequency band should I purchase?

A: The CAME-TV Kuminik8 Full-Duplex Wireless DECT Intercom System with 5 Single-Ear Headsets is only available in EU and USA variants. Compatibility and legality of the system in other localities cannot be guaranteed, and customers outside of North America/Europe should consult their local authorities to determine which version is acceptable.

Q: 10. I have the Ultralite 4pak but want to max out. Can I get a Hub and a couple of the ultrapaks as well and have them all work seamlessly?

A: If you have the Ultralite HD 4 person headset system, then yes it is possible to add a hub and additional ultrapaks. To do so, you would need to buy a Hub, B&H # EAHUB, four ultrapaks as above, and an additional remote headset to replace the master headset from the previous system. Here's an example BH #EAULSR.

[Single Earpiece] We bought these headsets to help with our church livestreams. So far they have been a great asset. The communication is clear between the director and the camera operators in a loud environment. They are comfortable, easy to use, and over-all great price for the budget. Would definitely recommend.

[Mono] After a few choices, this was the final decision. It worked perfectly. Sound clear without feedback.

[2] This wireless transmitter is perfect for camera systems using v-mount batteries. I've used it for over a year and that's the number reason why I purchased it - the design. It performs well it's not a Teradek the stretch of any means, but it works! That's all that matters at this price point. The only issues I experienced where that over time the antenna ports become loose but it can be easily retightened. And the original antennas that are included with it can break at the adjustable joints. I replace them with flexible after market antennas. And it include SDI!!! Can't be beat at this price point. Solid design, Great Features, Amazing Price! 5 Stars! Would Recommend

[Single Earpiece] Nice little tripod for a very reasonable price.  The top pivot is well made, but unfortunately I am not using it in my setup.

[4.895 lb] Got this because of the HIGH recommendation from a “ documentary filmmaker and working DP” and YouTuber who admits he absolutely works his gear into the ground, and these are the best V-mount batteries for his situation, because they are rugged and don’t require a charger. No charger to have to carry into the field means no charger to lose and repurchase, and no charger also means one more space in his pack for something else.

Well, I can’t argue with that.

This is my first V-Mount battery, so I can’t compare it to other V’s, but I’m glad I went this route. But to compare the construction of this battery to some L-Mount batteries I’ve gotten in the past, the quality of this V-mount is VERY high. The exterior is first rate quality: there is nothing cheap or flimsy about it. It charged up from 1/3 rd power (using B&H ‘s recommended Lenovo charger) in the space of an hour. I got it to power my beloved Colbor RGB 60 in the field, and it works like a champ.

Now I don’t have to drag my Bluetti around to power my lights in the field, and instead use the Bluetti for what it was intended: recharging gear back at the car.

I will absolutely be getting this V-mount again as I expand my kit.

[Headband] Tried using two tripods or rolling cstands but this may be a much better option. one rolling cstand or tripod with these arms seems even more stable and easier to move around while on set. Clamp arm does fit the bottom of a cstand.
