[Black] I wanted a larger, more comfortable handle for my RED weapon for handheld as well as easy rig work. I also wanted it to be universal as I still rent and rig a variety of cameras, so this option felt perfect.

The nato rail is a nice add because I often have to balance left to right with handle placement. This option of quick-shifting is helping me have more balanced rigs and shots in a fraction of the time. As well the handle not only being softer and more comfortable it's also longer, so again I'm finding the center of gravity for better placement far quicker. This handle is quite the time saver and it has additional cold shoe and mounting points. I'm a big fan for the incredibly affordable price point.

[Aluminum Alloy] This handle attaches nice and easy to the top NATO rail on my rig. Feels secure and has a plethora of mounting locations in all the right spots. The rail holder is a fantastic addition.

[Black] For the price it doesnt get much better than this. I cant envision myself ever spending $200+ on something like this after buying this product. The build quality is fantastic - absolutely no loose points or any wobbling once you take your time to get it adjusted to your setup. Connection points everywhere, all the hardware fits perfectly and the tools you need to set up are included, although I was provided with an additional alan wrench that doesnt appear to fit anywhere as well as extra hardware that I cannot figure out what it was intended for - not that I think I will need it seeing as the construction is quite sturdy and the materials seem high quality. The real test will be how well it holds up over time. 


PROS: Build quality is fantastic. two different size side-rods for different camera sizes, the other can be used in the 15mm rod mount on the handle. Minimal hardware


CONS: Wood is low-quality. Might be heavier than some prefer. Not easy to just pop the camera in and out of the cage, definitely requires a bit of time for setup/breakdown

[Black] Have not had a chance to use it much. This thing is very solid and easy to mount. Lots of room to hang stuff both sides. Nice piece of work.

[Black] Excellent quality and performance for a generic/universal cage. Feels solid and rigid. I personally don't use the hot shoe connection to secure the camera, I use only the camera screw, which makes it much quicker/easier to attach (I'm reasonably gentile with the rig, so skipping the hot shoe connection isn't concerning me). Currently using the cage with an EOS R, and the cage is just tall enough for that camera model when utilizing the shorter 4.9-inch side rod (the longer side rod included with the kit being 5.7 inches in length). All parts of the cage can be reversed so that the side rod is on the right, EXCEPT for the wood handle, because the wood is carved to fit your left hand. Note that there is side-to-side adjustment provided for the top and bottom cheese plates (i.e. camera plates), effectively allowing you to position the side rod closer or further from your camera body (an adjustment option that is easy to overlook). The cheese stick within the top handle can be loosened and rotated around its long axis in order to give some adjustment as to which threaded holes are facing upward, however you will need to supply your own 2.5mm hex wrench (the only size of hex wrench not furnished by the manufacturer). My only quibble (minor) is that the camera screw does not have a D-ring on the bottom end to permit secure tightening without a screwdriver. I personally have not used the wood handle very much (unneeded in my use case), so I can't comment on the frequent criticism that this CAMVATE wood handle design (which is used in multiple CAMVATE products) tends to develop slop in its connection regardless of how much you try to tighten it.

[Black] This thing is perfect for any camera that may not have a cage built especially for that model. It is a good build, was easy to put together, and is exactly what I needed for my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000.

[Aluminum Alloy] Basically a NATO handle is a NATO handle but this clamp rotates 180 degrees allowing the clamp to be inline or 90 degrees with handle. It's well made with lots of 1/4X20 attachment holes plus 2 cold shoes, rail, and 15mm rod clamp. Works great on my Smallrig cage for my GH5. It is also 30.00 cheaper than the Smallrig handle that has a rotating clamp and a built-in rod clamp.

[Aluminum Alloy] This handle does the job. strong grip professional construction and excellent locking mechanism. I also add other accessories to it when need to with out worries.

[Aluminum Alloy] I own a Canon XC15 and doesn't really have a special cage made for it. I purchased it trusting it would fit and it did.
