The CAMVATE Adjustable Stand with Ball Head for Desk Clampsis designed to attach to desk clamps and support smartphone and tablet holders, lights, mics, and more. It can be used for vlogging, web-conferencing, and other photo, video, and audio applications. On the bottom, it features a 1/4"-20 female thread for attaching it to desk clamps that offer a matching 1/4"-20 screw. On top, it has a 1/4"-20 screw. The included mini ball head attaches to this screw and provides another 1/4"-20 screw along with 90° tilt and 360° swivel adjustment. The stand is adjustable from 11.8 to 17.9" and supports up to 4.4 lb loads.

[0.355 lb] I use this for putting a DJI Action 1, 2 or 3 up high on a light stand. I wouldn't recommend using it with anything heavier than a mirrorless camera like a Canon EOS-R 5

[Aluminum] I bought this for a very specific, maybe novel purpose, but its design makes it remarkably versatile for a number of applications. I added a 3/8 screw adapter to the top so that I can screw that into one handle of my compact, 5-surface diffuser/reflector. With the CAMVATE, I can now hang the reflector from my light stand and even tilt the reflector bottom out and up somewhat when needed. It's study but light enough to carry right in the reflector case. 5

[0.355 lb] I use it to hold camera remotes exactly where I need them. A pin in the 1/4 thread holes allowed me to add a Varizoom rocker on the same assembly. This is a versatile problem-solving widget. 5
