This versatile Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for LP-E6 Batteriesfrom Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for LP-E6 Batteriescharges LP-EL, LP-E6 , LP-E6N, LP-E6NH, and LP-EL-type lithium-ion batteries via the included, dedicated battery plate. The charger runs on 100-240 VAC power, allowing for worldwide use. It features a foldout, two-prong US plug and is supplied with a European plug adapter and a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into the auxiliary power outlet. This makes it ideal for use both at home and on the road.

The Compact AC/DC Charger features a USB-A output for charging MP3 players, phones, digital cameras, and other devices with a USB power input - even while charging the camera or camcorder batteries. The battery adapter plates are easily interchangeable, so the charger can also be used with other batteries when paired with a dedicated battery plate, available separately.

NOTE: This charger is compatible with third party versions of the LP-E6NH but is NOT compatible with the Canon brand LP-E6NH battery.

A: These batteries are used on an external monitor. As far as I can tell they are fully charged based on the indicator charge light and the active life when in use.

[1] I needed to replace a lost Canon charger for my LP-E6 batteries. I've purchased Watson products before and found them very functional and of decent quality. The price advantage of the Watson line makes this charger attractive, particularly with its flexibility with different adapter plates for different batteries as well as a USB charging connection. I also purchased an adapter plate to enable charging of my LP-E12 batteries so I've got one less charger to haul around. I haven't found any difficulty with the adapter plates popping off when removing the batteries, as others seemed to have complained about. 5

[LED] I needed this a long time ago!! It works great for when you decide to go out on spur of the moment and one of your batteries are down or you leave one home and know you won't make it on a half battery life. To be able to charge as your going down the road is great! 5
