A: The SmallRig V-Mount Battery Plate is D-tap not XLR. It comes with a D-tap to 3 pin XLR adapter cable. The clamp will work with 1 inch stands.

[8.4 x 8 x 3.3"] I was using a different brand and the vmount was loose. I've tried different battery's on that plate and it would always wiggle. Not to mention that plate always gave me trouble getting the battery on and off. The smallrig battery plate is awesome! Super secure and easy to lock into place/take off. 5

[V-Mount] I got this to power my Atomos Ninja V with a D-Tap to DC barrel cable. I am using a dual NP-F to V-mount adapter plate into this unit and then out. It also provides another D-tap and a couple of DC outputs, so I will likely get an adapter to also run my camera from the dual NP-F batteries. Keep in mind this unit does have to be powered on, there are electronics inside and a small power button on one side. I thought something was faulty at first until I saw the button. 5

[V-Mount] Quality V-Mount plate, this V-Mount plate came as a add on to the SmallRig 120D LED I bought, it has D-Tap ports as well and I might just end up using this for many other of my V-Mount needs. Actually will buy a couple more of these as they are of Great Quality. 5

[V-Mount] They came included with my lights so I can't complain, and even if I paid for them, they seem like good enough quality tho basic in functionality but that would be asking too much from them. Design and quality is also fair and they come on nice foam that you can keep to use as protection for transport. 5
