[0.055 lb] I purchased a sun sight for the eclipse. It was supposed to mount to the camera's hot shoe. It did not. I purchased this to bridge the gap. It worked flawlessly.

[Black] These came as part of another order I made to receive a few cold shoe mounts to attach Speedlights to light stands. These blocks are made of anodized aluminum, are small and real sturdy.
I didn't need as many that came in the bag but can one ever have too many shoe adapters?

[Aluminum] I purchased a few of these at the same time I purchased some magic arms that have 2 male ends each, and these worked to interconnect them perfectly to extend a tripod mount on my vehicle’s dashboard so that my iPhone mount can be placed away from the hot dashboard while navigating and driving in the hot CA summer. No more overheating iPhone, if I can imagine it, B&H probably has it.

[Aluminum] The knurled disc is easy to grip when you tighten, or untighten, this from the cold shoe, or the item you're mounting. This beats out the adapter that came with my LumeCube. Otherwise there's not much to say. The finish is good and it appears well made. I trust it will hold speedlights securely.

[Black] The designer of this adapter really earned his money with this design. The foot is nicely made with clean edges and a good black anodized coating. The shoulder thumb nuts are large enough to get a good grip on them while only the shoulder clamps the rim of the shoe. The screw is long enough to fully engage any load and the second thumb nut tightens the load. Very nicely done overall.

[Black] I own a small home studio and I'm in the process of completing acoustic treatment in the room. I decided to mount a distant ribbon mic high in the far corner of the room. To tame frequencies in that corner I built a 1' X 1' X 2 acoustic panel with 703 insulation, a wood frame and FR701 fabric. Rather than hang this panel I wanted to do a rigid mount from the ceiling. I had a number of Matthews MicroGrip arms and clamps but I needed two mounts: one for the ceiling and one for the back of the panel. The CAMVATE Mounts are a lifesaver! They allowed me to do the rigid mount that I envisioned. Of course you can't do pull ups on this, but the MicroGrip hardware allows me to angle and articulate the exact placement of the panel in a solid manner.

[Black] I keep this on the tripod all the time simply to start from aq level position. It is very helpful for panoramas.
