The mount has a circular design with two red buttons for efficient detaching and attaching of your connected accessory. The top plate of the mount has a 1/4"-20 screw to secure most devices. One 1/4"-20 thread and two 3/8"-16 threads at the bottom of the mount secure the base to any tripod of your choice.

[2.1 oz / 60 g] Nothing too fancy here and it works really well for my purposes. I really appreciate having dual bubble levels, too. Wish they were slightly larger and easier to see, but they're a fast way to check how level the camera/tripod are. Since this doesn't take up a lot of space, it's now a must in my camera bag! 5

[0.145 lb] If you use Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads, this mount is a no-brainer. The machining issues reported in an earlier review seem to have been resolved. The GoPro HERO8 mount fits very snugly into this adapter and this adapter mounts perfectly into an Arca-Swiss clamp. If you aren't using an A-S clamp, you still have the 1/4-20 mount on the bottom of it. It's simple, flexible, and inexpensive. Highly recommended. (The challenge is actually getting it. I ordered it on 5/24 and finally received it on 8/27. That's three months I waited.) 5
