Mount your RED V-RAPTOR camera and ensure it is set to 15mm LWS standard height when mounted on a DJI Ronin-2 gimbal with this Bright Tangerine DJI Ronin-2 Riser for 15mm Baseplate RED V-RAPTORfrom Bright Tangerine. The durable aluminum riser is designed to be used with the LeftField Baseplate core and the DJI Ronin-2 dovetail plate.

The plate features a quick release design and includes six screws to mount it onto the separately available baseplate. It also has an integrated safety lock to prevent plate movement or disconnection.

This interchangeable riser combines with the LeftField Universal 15mm LWS Baseplate and DJI Ronin-2 Dovetail B4002.1058 to set the RED V-RAPTOR at the correct height for 15mm LWS standards.

The dovetail is secured using a 4mm Allen key that enables the operator to securely tighten down the clamp with a higher force than a lever. There is also no risk of levers being knocked during operation.

[Aluminum] The only downside is the weight, but it's made for heavy set-ups anyway. Not for run & gun. It's a great lens support and a premium lens deserves such premium lens support. very fast to use and take off. The same way as the bright tangerine follow focus. 5

[Aluminum] Is it expensive? Yes. It is flawless and perfect? Yes. I just love everything about it. My only maybe SLIGHT complaint, is I wish it had some Rosette mounts in this kit, but I easily added the BT side plate to finish it out! 5

[0.315 lb] Get the Bright Tangerine model if you're looking for this piece. Solid construction, hasn't budged since I set it to hold my Gratical EVF. Pairs well with my FX6 with the Wooden Camera top plate. 5

[0.315 lb] I use this with my Red Gemini and it works great for keeping a low profile in a low weight solution for dovetail applications going from tripod to gimbal to shoulder set ups. I use this with a 300mm (12 in) arri dovetail on the tripod to get good balance and it slides onto the wooden camera unified VCT wedge plate (B&H # WO223300) for shoulder work. This is the best solution out there for keeping the camera low on the shoulder or light on the tripod with lower center of gravity with 15mm lw rods. My only change would be the screws that come with it need to be lower profile to be even with the bottom of the camera. I switched those out for some WC low profile screws. 5
