Q: 1. As far as the filters go, how do I know which one to buy. I mean this in a the sense that I am on sure which one will fit my lens and not the effect range.

A: We list most all current lenses on our website, one method would be to reference the lens there and under the specifications we post the filter thread size. As well under the Accessories tab we post compatible/recommended filters which will also designate the size. Another method is to remove the lens cap from the lens, and on the underneath side it will reference the lens' filter thread size. A: Yes, the Tiffen Black Diffusion filter is designed with small aberrations to create a soft effect on your images and videos. However, the dots are invisible to the lens due to the proximity to your lens front element.

A: It should not at 24mm. The determining factors are the body you are shooting (full frame or cropped sensor). Full frame cameras are more likely to have vignetting issues. A: The Tiffen #16 Orange Filter (58mm) differs from an 85 Orange color conversion filter. The Tiffen #16 Orange Filter (58mm) is a contrast filter for B&W images. Instead, get the Tiffen 58mm 85 Color Conversion Filter, BH #TI8558.

Q: 6. Does this filter have a rotating filter ring to allow more control over placement of density in the image?

A: Yes it does. Turns easily and is well constructed. Used it successfully in Hawaii taking sunsets. It has a nice soft graduation. I've had good luck with Tiffen filters. Has the quality that I desire and meets my price point. I use my 58mm filters on a Canon GX1. Hope that helps.

A: I believe if you stack 3 82mm filters on 16mm on a full frame sensor, it's likely to vignette. You can consider using an over-sized CP with adapter instead. Another way is to buy an extra piece of ND filter of higher ND value. I believe less glass is best.
