A: I believe the answer is yes. I will tell you our scenario. The out to the extractor runs the video and audio to our projector. We are able to hear audio through our projector as well as the main sound system that the sound is extracted to. in essence, we have the option of listening to sound through the projector only or through the sound system only or both. A: LiveU does not list the compatible bit depth of video input for the LiveU Solo Pro HDMI 4K Video/Audio Encoder.

A: The Comprehensive 4K HDMI Audio Extractor is designed to take a 4K signal from devices that can produce that signal, though it has not been tested with cameras. Technically, the Canon EOS C200 Cinema Camera (EF-Mount), B&H # CAC200EF, should be supported but has not been tested.

Is the device capable of simultaneously passing thru the unmodified audio and video from the 4K Apple TV to the Samsung TV and extracting the L/R audio to amp powered speakers?

A: Yes, the embedded audio on the HDMI signal will stay on the HDMI signal while sending out the audio signal as well for a receiver.

[Device: (9 W)] The StarTech device worked great from the time we plugged it in. Since it only needs power at one end (and either end works), it was easy to install and is flexible. Liked it so much that we are replacing another extender of a different brand. 5

[1 Gang] I was tasked with having users mirror their laptop on a tv (after the built was complete) without software and I have found the answer. A facility had just finished a renovation and the tv was mounted, power was installed and network drops were in place but no thought had gone into how to utilize the boardroom to its full potential. After much discussion with endusers and management the most cost effective way would be to use an HDMI extender without any software installation required (since most laptops are locked down these days). With cables plugged in (HDMI and CAT5/6) all is left for the user to do is to plug in HDMI to their laptop and we now have the laptop screen on the tv. Another great product from Startech.com. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. 5

[1 Gang] I often like to show family members videos and pictures of our vacation and the kids from the computer on the TV. We also like to watch a lot of streamed content as well. My TV is not a smart TV so I can't stream content to it from my computer. I often have to copy everything to a USB stick and plug that into my TV. This eliminates that by being able to hook my computer from across the room to my TV as a monitor and watch media content on my TV from my computer without having to move it. Picture is clear without any degradation. The two units are small enough to tuck away out of sight. Did what I needed it to do. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review. 5

[1.755 lb] We tested the device over 100’ of cable with great results. The picture quality appears to be flawless and the fact that it only requires power on one end is definitely plus. Highly recommended! The small converters on each end are easy to hide and it was a simple install. 5

[1 Gang] Although you can buy other 4k HDBaseT extenders for less money, the Atlona units come with cable testing and firmware upgrade software which made the difference for me. The unit also works flawlessly for my 50ft run. 5

[Dolby TrueHD] B&H was our choice when we replaced our video camera and peripherals in our worship center recently.
