A: The HighPoint RocketStor 6661A-NVMe Thunderbolt 3 to NVMe RAID Adapter is compatible with all M.2 2280 NVMe drives. The drive you choose will depend on the capacity and speed you require. BH #SASBRKT4P2TB would be an example of a compatible drive.

A: Yes, that HBA will work fine on this MoBo. We use x8 and x9s with the Celerity 8Gb HBAs all the time with no issues. It willactually work at full speed in any slot, as all the x8 slots are full x8 (not x4 in x8, for example).

A: Yes, you can use 4TB M.2 NVMe SSDs in the HighPoint RocketStor 6661A-NVMe Thunderbolt 3 to NVMe RAID Adapter. I'd recommend the Crucial 4TB P3 Plus NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 Internal SSD, B&H # CRCT4000P3PS.

A: This comes with a low profile bracket.

Q: 10. My laptop only has usb type C, it does not have thunderbolt, this device can be used to connect it to my laptop convert the port into a thunderbolt to connect eGPU?

A: No the computer must have Thunderbolt 3. And if the computer has Thunderbolt 3 this is not used as a chassis for an eGPU but rather port expansion.

[0.4 lb] I had an older LSI 9271-8i used for a 21TB RAID6 but only see between 20-40Mbps transfer rates. With this HighPoint RocketRAID I am now maxing out my 2Gbps network. 5

[0.4 lb] This card has it's own bios that boots when you boot the computer. I have 2 sets of HDD's configured as RAID 1 (mirrored). Great for secure storage. If the computer fails, it should not affect the data. If you blow a HDD, you can replace it and the array will rebuild itself. You can take the entire assembly and move it to another computer without data loss. It integrates itself for drive configuration as if it were plugged into the SATA bus. One caution....Make sure you purchase RocketRAID and not just a RAID card. The RAID card doesn't have the spin down function. 5

[0.4 lb] Killer quality and sound. It definitely widens the stereo field a bit. The transformer button wont be for everyone. I tried it on the 2 track and didnt like it, but gave it a go on the bass buss and yeah dude big time. 5

[Low Profile] I use this to connect to a HighPoint RocketStor 5322 Dual-Dedicated 6 Gbps eSATA Storage Dock. The purpose I use this setup for is Removable Backup Drives that are stored in the Safe to protect the data from Theft and Fire. I want to make an important note about Windows 8 and the use of this product. - Windows 8 and later shuts your computer down in a Hybrid Hibernation state, so that your computer starts up faster (if your OS is on an SSD it makes no difference in speed). If you leave this option turned on, it will not allow this controller to use the Drives connected to it as hot swappable and you will have many issues. If you turn this option off in Windows 8, everything works perfectly. - To get to this option in Windows 8 to turn it off, go to the Start button then click the magnifying glass for search and type po bu (stands for power button). Under Shutdown settings un-check Turn on fast startup (recommended). Click Save Changes at the bottom and then Re-start your computer. That is it, it will work perfectly now. I did not come up with that fix on my own I contacted HighPoint when I was having the issue and they first saw if they could recreate the issues I was having in their Lab and they were able to and told me they would contact me again when they have the issue resolved. A week later they contacted me and told me this fix for my OS. The issue had nothing to do with their hardware or software but an OS setting and they figured it out for me. I find that a rare thing these days and will Trust this company for future purchases if I need them. 5
