Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this the us model?

A: In situations where B&H offers both a USA and an imported version of a product, we label each version clearly and explicitly. If a product does not have an indication either way, it is understood to be by default a USA product. In situations where only a USA version is offered it will not be labeled USA.

Q: 2. Are the menus in english? what is the difference in USA vs import model?

A: The menus are in English and there are 25 languages to choose from: English, German, French, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, Finnish, Italian, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, Greek, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Thai, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. USA versus Import has to do with the warranty on the product or lenses. Generally B&H only sells USA bodies. This means the camera will have a Canon USA warranty valid for one year. With lenses it's the same policy. We do sell Imported lenses. Imported lenses sold by B&H do not have a Canon warranty, but they do have a 1 year B&H warranty.

Q: 3. Does it cover focus stacking

A: It covers focus shifting for the Nikon 850. The actual focus stacking takes place in Photoshop. The cheat sheet directs you to the menu in the 850 and explains the different options available in the focus shifting category.

Q: 4. What are the dimensions of the entire box with all the items in it it?

A: 11 inches long x 7-3/4 inches wide x 9-1/4 inches high

Q: 5. Can you use a lp-e6n battery in the Canon 70D? The manual say it is a lp-e6, but I believe the battery designated with the n is improved. Thank you.

A: I use a Watson LP-E6 battery in my Canon 70D. It works perfectly as the original Canon battery!

Q: 6. What is the maximum size / max capacity SD card (or SDXC card) that can be used in the Canon 70d? Will the camera recognize a 128 GB SDXC card? I need to shoot long video (3 hours) - I will be at the camera to push record every 29 minutes, but want to minimize memory management.

A: I have not shoot video yet, but the camera DOES recognize 128gb, 256gb, and rumored 512gb, although I can't get my hands on the last. I take you already know some cards preform better than others with this camera. Some has a lust withnames and on a major camera site, sorry no link, on phone.

Q: 7. Will all EF and EF-S Lenses fit this camera or do they have to have Stm on the end of it?

A: You can use either EF or EF-s lenses with this camera

Q: 8. Is this Cheat Sheet good for the regular Canon Rebel T7?

A: It would not be good for the T7 but you can use this Rocky Nook Canon EOS Rebel T7: Pocket Guide instead: https://bhpho.to/34czgaj

Q: 9. Has anyone tried the HDR feature. How well does it work?

A: HDR is pretty good. It uses three images to create the HDR. It only works in Jpeg and it does not save the individual images, just the HDR. For built in HDR it is good. There are many post options to create HDR and those usually give you the option to use more than three images and so you will get more ability and control.

Q: 10. Thinking of using with intervalometer to do time-lapse. Question: I'd like to do 12 hour time lapse but battery on video lasts for only 1-1/2 hour. Would it last longer doing time-lapse? I.e. if I want 12 hour time-lapse to view for 1 minute it would mean shooting 2.5 frames/minute rather than 1800. Would battery last longer shooting only 2.5 frames/minute?

A: I have no idea.

[0.1 lb] These Cheat Sheet (CS) is a very convenient Summaries of the Cameras capabilities and how to utilize them without having to take the 500+ page Instruction Manual into the field. It is great that Canon provides a hard copy Instruction Manual, but the CS is a great field support summary.

[0.1 lb] I ordered the cheat sheet because after reading the manual to my Canon70D I realized I needed a sheet with all the cheats on it. I found the cheat sheet from B&H photo and it is perfect. One small laminated sheet with reminders and tips on front and back. It is folded into thirds so it is very portable and easy to toss in my camera bag. Would highly recommend for any owner of the Canon 70D who wants to have the reminders at hand.

[0.1 lb] This cheat sheet (front & back) is fantastic! The standard handbook that comes with the camera is important but with over 460 pages it is not practical while on a shoot to be useful. Bert's is! In fact it directed me to some features in the EOS70D that I had missed in reading the manual. The Tri fold layout and the plastic lamination makes this easy to carry in your camera bag for quick reference.
