Q: 1. Will these gels & grid fit in the zoom reflector 2

A: These do not fit into a reflector they are designed for the B10, B10 Plus, and the B1X and they mount right on the light with the included holder. They are not meant to be used with a reflector. To narrow the beam you would use them with grids for the ocf system like the included grid in the kit.

Q: 2. Since Elinchrom One can use the Profoto OCF accessories, Can this Diffusion Dome fit on a Profoto B10?

A: The Elinchrom OCF Diffusion Dome should be compatible for use on the Profoto B10 OCF Flash Head.

Q: 3. Does this fit on d1?

A: Profoto OCF modifiers are not designed to be used on D series flashes.

Q: 4. Will this fit on the Profoto B2 250?

A: No. The following unit is made and designed for use with the B10, B10 Plus, and B1X.

Q: 5. Can these be used with continuous lighting? I have a couple Amaran 200d lights.

A: The MagMod Correction Dome Gels were not meant to be used with continues lights.

Q: 6. Will this also work on the Profoto B2 250 heads?

A: OCF accessories are not recommended . The modeling will melt it .

Q: 7. So will the gels I have from the 1st version of the grid/gel kit work with this?

A: The first and second generation gels should be compatible.

Q: 8. Aren't D1/D2 the "OCF" too? They seem have the same body as Bx has. Unfortunately there aren't the same accessories marked as "suitable for Dx". Marks are either "for Bx" or "for all OCF monolights". Just want to know which holder and gel kits to buy for my D2 monolights.

A: For your D-2 you don't use any OCF accessories at all as it's unsafe. The modelling lamp will burn up these accessories in no time and it's a real life fire hazard.

Q: 9. Works with Profoto RFi Speed Ring for Profoto RFi Octa Softbox (3')?

A: The Profoto OCF II Grid and Gel Kit would not be compatible for use with the Profoto RFi speed ring or RFi softboxes. It would only be compatible for use with Profoto OCF light modifiers.

Q: 10. Can you attach this gel kit in addition to a softbox on a B1X?

A: yes you can

[Rigid Plastic] When Canon came out with the original 600 EX-RT, one of this I really enjoyed using was the custom gel holder. I made so many custom gels. So when moving to a different lighting system, one of the main contributing factors was in how I could work with gels. I absolutely love this piece of gear! Very easy to mount (I'm using B10X Plus units) and it's incredibly quick to change out gels and/or grids. I've already picked up their separate gel holder so I can make my own. Also picked up the other two degrees of grids for more configuration options. Using this in conjunction with other modifiers is awesome. e.g. the snoot attaches directly to this unit and fits even with three stacked items. Though using a grid is going to be fairly useless with a snoot (since it's at the snoot's back and not front), and can't image a scenario where I'd need three gels all stacked. When using with OCF softboxes, it's quite easy to open up one of the rear flaps (with velcro), reach in, and add, remove or swap out the gels. All in all, a very solid design. Not limiting at all since you can use other modifiers along with it. And definitely not limiting since you can stack many items together. This is the one item that I'll get for each of my B10 series units. 5
