This Flic Film 3-Bath C-41 Kit for 16 Rollsfrom Flic Film 3-Bath C-41 Kit for 16 Rollsuse the same tried and true lab formula of their Lab Style Kits. Eliminated the stop bath and stabilizer for convenience it uses instead three water rinses in place of the stop bath. Stabilizer is not necessary for modern film but is critical for any expired film from before 2006. This 1L kit provides enough chemistry to process 16 rolls of 35mm or 120 film and contains a developer, bleach, and powder fixer. The separated bleach and fixer keep the chemicals lasting longer and provide consistent results from first roll.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the best way to store already mixed solutions to prolong its use?

A: In dark chemistry bottles, such as the ones listed below; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=storage%20bottles&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma

Q: 2. There are complaints about the instructions. How clear are the instructions?

A: Here are the instructions for the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath: https://bhpho.to/4dRbxLz.

Q: 3. What are the inside dimensions of the tank?

A: According to the manufacturer, the interior dimensions of the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath are 12" (30.48 cm) long, 6.25"(15.87 cm) wide, and 4.25" (10.8 cm) deep.

Q: 4. Will I need to double batch to develop a roll of Super 8?

A: How many batches of the Flic Film ECN-2 Processing Kit for 8 Rolls (0.5L) you will need will depend how long your super 8 film is. This chemistry though is for film that had the remjet layer removed. It won't work if your super 8 film still has the remjet layer on it.

Q: 5. What is the highest temperature the device can achieve and maintain?

A: The manufacture does not list the temperature the heater works with but it is for processing so the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath should be fine for regulating at 68 F. But note it does not have a cooler only a heater. So if the room you are in is over 68 degrees that could be an issue.

Q: 6. can it be used for 120 film?

A: This can be used with any film that uses C-41 processing.

A: Equipment not included in the kit are, • A processing tank and reels or a rotary-tube type processor. • Three empty chemical storage bottles. • A graduated pitcher. • TCS-1000 temperature control system, or • A timer, an accurate thermometer and a tempered water bath. Best is to come in to chat or call for the items you need. There are many options.

Q: 8. Can I develop 40 year old color negatives with this kit?

A: If the film is color negative c-41 film, yes you can use CineStill Film Cs41 Powder Developing Kit for C-41 Color Film to process it. Note after 40 years the latent image will be some what corrupted.

Q: 9. Can I develop B&W C41 with this? Like Ilford HP5+?

A: The CineStill Film Cs41 Powder Developing Kit is specific to process C-41 like most color negative film. It is not compatible to use it to process., Ilford HP5 Plus Black and White Negative Film.

Q: 10. Is this DX coded? (I'm want to use it in a point-and-shoot).

A: No, the Flic Film Vision3 250D Cine Film (35mm Roll Film) does not have the DX encoding. However, you can still use this film on a point and shoot film camera.

[0.91 lb] This film was a real treat after buying it on a whim. I found the pop of color vibrancy on it, and its low grain, to be stellar. I live in Texas so we get plenty of bright sun, so this low ISO film is perfect for that. I know its just a repackaging of a Kodak aerial film, but that isn't really available to us consumers, but Flic Film Elektra is, and I plan to shoot more of it! I highly recommend it to photographers looking for fairly cheaper color negative film, and in applications where you like some nice extra reds and greens

[0.91 lb] Nice way to add some variety and mix up what you shoot. For the price its worth buying a few rolls and seeing what you get. Lots of contrast and nice fine grain.

[0.91 lb] At first glance, I thought it was a wasted roll, but after some color corrections in Lightroom, the warm tones were there while still highlighting the natural colors that modern slide film highlights. I will definitely shoot with it again to see if I can fine tune the exposure a bit.

[0.91 lb] This is so much better then the canister squeeze contraption. I dont like these reload canisters, but this quick pic is the best way to open flic film canisters. I have LOTS of flic film and now feel comfortable shooting it because i can open the canisters. When you use the pic twist it and listen for the snap. Thats important for both tabs on the canister.

[0.91 lb] Step 1. Buy this stock
Step 2. Put it in your camera
Step 3. Slap on an 812 filter

Now I just need to get one of those old slide projectors
