It has a wide exposure latitude with exceptional highlight control for working in a variety of lighting conditions, ranging from high-contrast outdoor lighting to mixed interior light situations. Advanced Dye Layering Technology (DLT) is also used to reduce the appearance of grain in the shadows for cleaner detailing and clarity. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Could this be used to bulk load 36-exposure rolls for a photography camera?

A: Hi David, Kodak does not recommend it.

Q: 2. Hi this is made in 2023 or 2024? Thanks

A: Unfortunately, we cannot access the Kodak VISION3 500T Color Negative Film #5219 (35mm, 400' Roll) to read the expiration date before shipping, but as a rule B&H does not sell film within 6 months of expiration.

Q: 3. Do you have any information on this films reciprocity characteristics when used for long exposures like in astrophotography?

A: Per CineStill: “ We do not currently have a published data sheet regarding reciprocity failure compensation. For very long exposures in very low light some other variables come in to play such as the accuracy of the light measurement. This means that some trial and error may be required. As with all color negative film, it’s usually best to err on the side of giving the film more exposure to create a denser negative with more information for color correcting when scanning or printing in the darkroom.”

Q: 4. Is this a daylight or tungsten balanced film?

A: The CineStill Film 400Dynamic Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is daylight balanced.

Q: 5. Is this DX coded? (I'm want to use it in a point-and-shoot).

A: No, the Flic Film Vision3 250D Cine Film (35mm Roll Film) does not have the DX encoding. However, you can still use this film on a point and shoot film camera.

Q: 6. Will this work on GAF XL125 camera?

A: Kodak VISION3 500T Color Negative Film #7219 (Super 8, 50' Roll) is in a Super 8 cassette and will work in any Super 8 camera, including the GAF XL125 Super 8 Movie Camera.

Q: 7. Where do you get cine film developed?

A: B&H offes Store drop off film developing services. There are also multiple photo labs that provide this service. I would recomend reserching for ECN-2 Process photo labs near you.

Q: 8. What's the date?fresh or out of?

A: While we cannot offer an exact expiration date for the Kodak VISION3 500T, it would be in the range of 6 months to one year from now.

Q: 9. Is this film DX coded?

A: Yes, the dubblefilm Bubblegum 400 Color Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is DX coded.

Q: 10. Is this DX coded?

A: Yes, the CineStill Film 400Dynamic Color Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is DX coded.

[36] At first glance, I thought it was a wasted roll, but after some color corrections in Lightroom, the warm tones were there while still highlighting the natural colors that modern slide film highlights. I will definitely shoot with it again to see if I can fine tune the exposure a bit.

[500] As others have noted, this is Ektachrome 5294 movie film, spooled in to cassettes, for 35mm still cameras. It has great color, and saturation, as well pleasing skin tones. Like its sold by Kodak Alaris counterpart, it is a great all around film. I use it for all occasions, both in the studio, and outdoors. Since it is a movie film, it doesn't have frame numbers along the edges; not a big deal, just something to note.

[0.06 lb] Step 1. Buy this stock
Step 2. Put it in your camera
Step 3. Slap on an 812 filter

Now I just need to get one of those old slide projectors

[500] This film was a real treat after buying it on a whim. I found the pop of color vibrancy on it, and its low grain, to be stellar. I live in Texas so we get plenty of bright sun, so this low ISO film is perfect for that. I know its just a repackaging of a Kodak aerial film, but that isn't really available to us consumers, but Flic Film Elektra is, and I plan to shoot more of it! I highly recommend it to photographers looking for fairly cheaper color negative film, and in applications where you like some nice extra reds and greens

[35mm] In August, I went on a trip the the Pacific Northwest, and wanted to capture it on Slide and B&W. I shot 5 rolls of Chrome 100 using a Nikon F with a 50mm F/1.4 and using a Pentax Spotmeter V!

Very happy with how they turned out! I also brought two rolls of Kodak's E100 to compare, and since Chrome 100 is just bulk loaded E100D wasn't much of a difference between E100 and Chrome 100!

I really enjoyed this roll and for the price (especially since E100 is 21.99 on B&H) you can't get much better than this!

[0.06 lb] Nice way to add some variety and mix up what you shoot. For the price its worth buying a few rolls and seeing what you get. Lots of contrast and nice fine grain.
