Flic Film Quick Fixer 1L for Photographyis one liter of easy-to-use, non-hardening rapid fixer concentrate suitable for fixing both black and white negatives and paper. The fixer does not have sodium thiosulfate (hypo) and therefore does not require a hypo-cleansing agent. Water dilution ratios differ depending on usage. The bottle contains enough concentrate to fix approximately 100 rolls of film.

A: You can use this in the same way as you would hypo clearing agent.

Q: 4. What is the highest temperature the device can achieve and maintain?

A: The manufacture does not list the temperature the heater works with but it is for processing so the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath should be fine for regulating at 68 F. But note it does not have a cooler only a heater. So if the room you are in is over 68 degrees that could be an issue.

A: B&H Photo's policy on film is that all film sold will have an expiration date at least 6 months after the delivery date.

A: B&H offes Store drop off film developing services. There are also multiple photo labs that provide this service. I would recomend reserching for ECN-2 Process photo labs near you.

A: Yes, the Flic Film ECN-2 8-Roll Home Processing Kit (0.5L) is the correct development kit for all Kodak Vision 3 cinema films.

A: The CineStill Film F96 B&W+Bleach-Bypass Rapid Fixer is suitable for Bleach-Bypass Color Film. Ilford does not make a fixer for the bleach bypass process.

[3.085 lb] So far I have used this product only 2 times, but I have to say that it is working flawlessly so far. You have to give a little bit of time to reach and maintain the target temperature but it does not take too long, it is actually appropriate. It is not very deep, so for your bottles to be fully or almost fully submerged into the temperature controlled water bath, you will have to use a 500 ml (4 are included with the purchase of this product) or 600 ml (like the ones from Jobo) bottles. I did not try yet to use 1 L bottles to see how evenly the whole liquid inside the bottle is preserved at the target temperature, since only alf of the bottle will be fully submerged. So, I might try that and comeback to update this review if possible. 5

[Fixer] I am very satisfied with the product. It is very practical in use. The water heats up quickly and the temperature is regulated very precisely. Important for users in Germany (220 V AC): An adapter power supply (from 220 V to 110 V AC) is required, which is at least 600 watts continuous current. This is the power of the heating rod. 5

[Liquid] This is so much better then the canister squeeze contraption. I dont like these reload canisters, but this quick pic is the best way to open flic film canisters. I have LOTS of flic film and now feel comfortable shooting it because i can open the canisters. When you use the pic twist it and listen for the snap. Thats important for both tabs on the canister. 5
