It remains clear during use, has a high development capacity, and produces the same image tone and contrast as Flic Film's Quintol Neutral Tone Paper Developer. The package contains enough powdered chemistry to make one liter of stock solution, which is then diluted with water for a working solution. Overall print tone depends on development time, with the image moving from warm to cool the longer the print remains in the developing bath.

Q: 1. What is the dilution ratio from concentrate when developing 100 Tmax and 400 Tmax? Also what is a standard development time?

A: Click the link below to view the Kodak product sheet showing dilution and dev tiems; https://imaging.kodakalaris.com/sites/uat/files/wysiwyg/pro/chemistry/j24.pdf

Q: 2. How does this compare to the original HC110, are the dilutions from concentrate the same?

A: The dilution is not exactly the same as the original. The best thing is to do a test run or two to hone in on the best mix, time and temp for the film you are using.

Q: 3. What's the size of this package? What's the weight? Because will travel by air!

A: The package for Ilford ID-11 Film Developer Powder for Black & White Film (Makes 5L) is approximately 1.3 lbs. The dimensions being 8.39 x 5.51 x 2.36 inches.

Q: 4. What is the highest temperature the device can achieve and maintain?

A: The manufacture does not list the temperature the heater works with but it is for processing so the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath should be fine for regulating at 68 F. But note it does not have a cooler only a heater. So if the room you are in is over 68 degrees that could be an issue.

Q: 5. Which is best for black and white photography? Warm or Cool tone?

A: Different paper for different subject and printing styles. For more landscape and waterfalls I like cool tone and for profiles and people I like Warm tone.

A: Yes, it is compatible.

Q: 9. Can I use this paper with the Epson P800 printer? Is there thicker media than this for photos using Epson P800?

[0.125 lb] The only other b&w developer i've ever used was kodak d76, and this performs just as well, if not better, for only $7 a pack. Very contrasty and cinematic look that I LOVE.
