Finish the film-developing process with an immaculate negative by using this 250mL bottle of Flic Film Slick-200 Wetting Agent 250mLfor the final rinse of both color and black and white negatives. Slick-200 Wetting Agent decreases the surface tension of the water so that it flows off evenly from the negative surface, preventing the water marks and streaks that would otherwise be produced during drying. Just 5mL of Slick-200 is required to make a liter of wetting agent, which can last up to six months once made, and one 250 ml bottle of Slick-200 can make up to 50 liters of wetting agent.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use this with Color C41 film?

A: The Ilford Simplicity Black and White Film Wetting Agent is not compatible with C41 film.

Q: 2. What is the highest temperature the device can achieve and maintain?

A: The manufacture does not list the temperature the heater works with but it is for processing so the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath should be fine for regulating at 68 F. But note it does not have a cooler only a heater. So if the room you are in is over 68 degrees that could be an issue.

Q: 3. Will I need to double batch to develop a roll of Super 8?

A: How many batches of the Flic Film ECN-2 Processing Kit for 8 Rolls (0.5L) you will need will depend how long your super 8 film is. This chemistry though is for film that had the remjet layer removed. It won't work if your super 8 film still has the remjet layer on it.

Q: 4. There are complaints about the instructions. How clear are the instructions?

A: Here are the instructions for the Flic Film Precision Temperature Water Bath: https://bhpho.to/4dRbxLz.

Q: 5. Is this DX coded? (I'm want to use it in a point-and-shoot).

A: No, the Flic Film Vision3 250D Cine Film (35mm Roll Film) does not have the DX encoding. However, you can still use this film on a point and shoot film camera.

Q: 6. How many frames?

A: The Flic Film Vision3 250D Cine Film (35mm Roll Film) has 36 frames.

Q: 7. Where do you get cine film developed?

A: B&H offes Store drop off film developing services. There are also multiple photo labs that provide this service. I would recomend reserching for ECN-2 Process photo labs near you.

Q: 8. What is the chemical make up of this product? Is it for color or b&w?

A: Moersch Photochemie Bleach Concentrate (100mL) contains potassium hexacyanoferrate and potassium bromide.

Q: 9. Is this chemistry for movie films like 250D or 500T?

A: Yes, the Flic Film ECN-2 8-Roll Home Processing Kit (0.5L) is the correct development kit for all Kodak Vision 3 cinema films.

Q: 10. How long will this last before it will go bad?

A: The Ilford Simplicity Black and White Film Wetting Agent (25mL) can be kept for 2 years unopened. Once opened they should be used immediately. If opened accidentally then immediately resealed it should be used within 6 months.

[Wetting Agent] Easy, one-shot use, if you'd like - just a few drops squeezed from the bottle - no mixing up and bottling a stock solution. Film dries fast and is always clean. Been using it for decades. Can't imagine going back to Photo-flo.

[Wetting Agent] Just like the Kodak PhotoFlo we remember from the 1950s and better than some products since. The first few rolls dried flat and spotless.

[0.605 lb] I use it with 4 X 5 and 2 1/4 negs. It's as important to me as any other step in the developing process....especialy when I have a large gray sky, when a water mark will show up in the printing. I only use LFN even though many years ago I used to buy Photoflow. However, after seeing a warning or two about using Photoflow, I started buying LFN and will always use it. I really don't know how anyone processing film could do without it.

[0.605 lb] Lasts a looong time. 2 drops per tank. Great wetting agent. No more water spots. I noticed a performance improvement with slighly warmer (warmer than developer temp, 72F water.

[Liquid] I have developed over 150 rolls of film on the first bottle and it still goes on doing what it says one drop at a time. My final rinse is in distilled water for 80 seconds and then I add one drop to the final rinse(only one drop more is not better). Shake for only 20 seconds, pour out final rinse water, remove film, shake off excess water and hang to dry. No need to sqeegee film it drys perfectly without spots. Dust appears not to want to stick.
