[1.355 lb] I bought this camera backpack a month ago in anticipation of a 3 week adventure in Costa Rica. It was just big enough inside for my Sony @6000 with two lenses, batteries, charger, phone, notebook and a few other essentials - sunscreen, binder with all of our travel info, wallet. The interior padding for the lenses and camera keeps them safe. My tripod was secured on one side, water bottle on the other. the pack was light enough so that hiking through the rainforest was easy. I did not carry a laptop, even though there is space for one; it would have been heavier, and I think that having my laptop with me would make me use it in the evening - time better spent looking at the skies. We often were hiking through rain, and no problem with moisture inside the pack. I love the rugged African look and received a few compliments on how cool it was.

[Yes] Great bag that holds most of my camera gear! I can fit my body with a telephoto lens and a few other lenses. I would make the side holders larger for bottles and tripods. Other than that! It's superb

[Zipper] I happened on this bag while searching for another make and was impressed by its apparent versatility. I decide to order it and it has now had two major outings. One as my gear bag for a trip and second, as a bag on my shoulders fur a 10K hike. This bag is incredible. On the trip it carried a Nikon Z9 body attached to a Z 135mm S lens (Plena), a Z 35mm S lens, a Nikon AF S 70-200mm lens, FTZ II adaptor, a 2x TC, a 15 MacBook Pro, a couple of extra batteries and a light jacket. On the hike it had pretty much the same equipment except the MacBook. I carried second body and lens hooked the hooks on the shoulder straps with carabiners and a tripod. The bag is incredibly stable sitting on uneven terrain. It seems very durable and I think it will wear well. The pockets are plentiful and extremely well placed to keep everything in organized and for some reason, much easier to remember which pocket has what in it. I really live this bag. The total weight of the pack was 18 lbs. By the end I was missing having a waist belt. At 60 years old, I was still impressed that I carried it for over three hours. The bag is pragmatic, spacious, stable and good looking.

[Yes] The National Geographic Africa Camera Backpack is a head-turning work-horse. Exceptionally well made, holds my X-T4 with her entire 7-lens all Fuji-glass kit, including the 100-400. Gets tight on space if you want to also carry a laptop and tablet (my go-to), plus nearly a dozen filters. I’m so impressed with the quality of the backpack that I’m adding the Nat Geo medium rucksack to use as my daily around town bag. Together, the two will handle all the kit I have, need, and want to add to my collection. 5-stars

[Black] Just the right size for my Fuji X-T30 and a couple of lenses. Nice top loader for extra equipment and side zipper for SD cards and lens wipes or filters. B&H, no surprise, always has awesome products. I love this bag and hope to use it for years to come. If you have a big camera I would look elsewhere. This is a perfect bag for smaller cameras.

[Zipper] This is, by far, the best backpack that I ever had. My Lowepro 450 AW II was super heavy and not practical for daily use, the National Geographic Africa is the perfect size and weight for daily use.

[Yes] This backpack is the perfect size. It's on the smaller end, and as a smaller human I find it to fit just right. The pads are where they should be for optimum comfort. I like that you can access the top compartment through the back via zipper and it's made of solid fabrics.

[Yes] This backpack freed my hands for picture taking. It is large enough to pack additional lenses and a second camera ready to use at a moments notice. A nice present for myself and only wish I had bought it when I first noticed it on the website.

[Zipper] I got this on a Daily Deal, but feel it would be worth the frontline price, honestly. It's well-made, a well thought out and high quality. I used the main compartment to hold my EOS-R w/100-400 attached and a 35mm, 24-105, 10-18 EF with adapter, and a couple spare batteries. I stuck a couple of medium format film cameras in the top compartment along with a few other doo-dads and still haven't used all the space and compartments this thing has. It's truly a great fit for me.
