A: No it is not designed to hold that much weight.

A: The vinyl background is heavy and the cross bar holds the weight with no problem .

Q: 3. What type of zoom demand controller will work with this motor?

A: I would recommend the Preston Micro Force V+F3.

Q: 4. Total size of carrying bag?

A: Although Manfrotto does not publish a measure of the bag, it would be around 45".

Q: 5. Will this fit a DVX100?

A: The Filter Thread Size on the older Panasonic DVX100 is 72mm, which is the kind of adapter this is. Also this Fish-Eye Adapter is for both 16x9 and 4x3 Format Camcorders. It should work with the DVX100.

Q: 6. Will this fit a Panasonic hpx170?

A: The HPX170 has a 72mm filter thread. This adapter should work well with that camcorder as it has a compatible thread.

Q: 7. What's the minimum width of the crossbar?

A: The cross bar expands from 3.7 - 9.0'

A: You can definitely change the backgrounds on your own. The crossbar would have a receiver at both ends which mounts onto the 5/8 studs on each stand and which lock down. A good rule of thumb is to place the cross bar on both stand at a reachable height and slowly extend each riser of the stand, starting with the stand to the left and the bottom riser, until you get it to the desired height. It is also helpful to have a small step stool handy for extra reach.

Q: 9. 15mm or 19mm?

A: This is for 15mm rod.

Q: 10. Those the Background Support System expand more than 9' feet?. Wonder if can expand to 10'

A: This system can be extended to 10'. That is the max. It a sturdy system also.

[0.4 MOD] The Titla .08 MOD Gear is perfect. How many times does the standard non thick version come off the lens. With the thick gear it never comes off. Best purchase of the month. Will be buying a second one soon. 5

[0.4 MOD] Earlier this year I purchased a Heden M21VE dual pin motor and 2 of these gears in different pitches. These additional gears fit a 64 pitch (0.4 MOD) and 48 pitch (0.5 MOD) lens rings. The gear that comes with the motor (0.8 MOD) works with a 32 pitch lens ring. The Heden motors and gears are very convenient in that the different gears can be changed quickly and easily for different pitches on lenses (examples are 32, 48, 64 pitch). They also attach to either side of the motor. Also, make sure you use these with the correct motor. The larger motors require a larger diameter shaft and will not work with these gears. Conversely, the larger shaft dual pin gears will not work with the M21VE motor (I learned this lesson the hard way). 5

[0.045 lb] This is a great digital motor for focus pullers. I use a Preston Cinema System and have always used Preston motors in the past. The form factor of this motor is so much better and i can build my camera tighter on remote heads. After a lot of research this motor is more efficient than the Preston DM-1X and half the size. DM-1X has a spin rate of 229 teeth per second and the M26VE-LX spins at 255 teeth per second so that means faster racks from minimum to infinity. The LX version of this motor is worth every penny. 5

[0.4 MOD] This thicker wheel makes it possible to leave my motor in place, and change my lenses without re-placing the motor each time. If you're modifying photo lenses with gears (particularly if the outer diameter matches), this is a game changer to hack getting the gears in the same place 5

[0.045 lb] I was on a shoot and really needed to be able to control a B4 Fujinon zoom lens with my Tilta hardware. Here comes the .6MOD to save the day. I really got lucky that B&H had it in stock. Note that the original gear is VERY tightly bound to the servo so you'll need a decent driver (I broke one of mine trying to get it off). 5
